What's Wrong With This Picture?

Worry about the sharks, not the minnows. -
I made the mistake of getting hooked into commenting on one of these grainy cell phone vids that really doesn't show the whole story. I will agree what we can see looks obvious, but I have to assume the B and possibly the L had a much better look at it. I tend to take the replay approach, I don't have conclusive evidence to overturn the call. I say the ruling on the field stands.

At the risk of hijacking the thread, I’d love to see the EZ film.

The New Normal, round 2

Oddly enough I had this discussion on a high school classmates FB page a while back. She posted a link about stopping hate speech. I argued the 1A protected that speech, in fact 1A's very foundation was to protect speech we don't agree with. I was immediately attacked by a bunch of 50 something The View watching women and labeled every ism/ist in the dictionary. Society ebbs and flows, fortunately life is not lived on social media. But I do love watching our class valedictorian who currently uses a mobility scooter in lieu of his legs due to his obesity frequently posted about throat punching/other physical violence against anyone who doesn't subscribe to his beliefs. -

Playoff Qualification Story (MI)
Impartial_Observer replied to a topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I will be honest, my high school playing days were during Indiana's playoff system. We were kind of screwed from the start having a 2A school in our conference that we had to play hurt us tremendously. We typically had to rely on other schools to lose for us to make the playoffs. I don't recall ever having more emphasis put on any game because of playoff implications. I don't recall the coaches talking about the playoffs, until late in the year when we were rooting for other teams to lose. We prepared and played hard in every week, playoffs were never given a thought. Having played in a playoff system, and coached in an all in format, there is one constant, losing sucks. -

No wonder you're a proponent of playoffs, per the article it would mean more legal work 😂 -

So the vid I have on my phone of a current high ranking local school official dropping an entire mag out of his new AR could be used to extricate money from him to keep it from becoming public? Hmmmm, I can see a real windfall of hush money in IO's future! -
We saw this in the game posted earlier in the season with the game in Columbus, OH after multiple USC's and a player head butting an official. It is very rare, but it is a trump card in the officials' tool box to administer the game. I'm sure all of us are perfectly happy to complete our career's never having to play this trump card.

My experience has been it's much easier to use the self serve kiosk. Of course it doesn't make the wait any shorter, but I don't have to deal with people. In several places I've been that have the kiosks, there's only one or two registers, and it's hit or miss whether a human will be manning either of them.

I’ll save you some grief, mom is right, that’s not the hill you want to die on.
