A school of 3800 playing a school half (roughly?, too lazy to look up the numbers) is nearly an "everything to lose" game for the larger school every time. While many might attempt to turn a Warren win into discrediting Snider's win last year, who cares? Snider proved it belonged by waxing Decatur Central and winning 5A last year.

It does but Indy teams have earned any potential “bias” of why they receive the benefit from. In 6A, a non-Indy school beating an Indy area school is front page news…an Indy area school beating a non-Indy area school is just another Friday night. Like you’ve said, they are meaningless rankings that are fun to talk about but don’t really matter in the big picture.

Crown Point gets credit for being better than Westfield that night but that’s as far as I’ll go. I’ve given the Bulldogs more than enough love in my preseason poll, and you of all people know I do not have much of a bias when compared to other folks.

We will see. Hope you’re right but I’ve heard it for years. If my math is correct, there have been 10 state finals contests between non-Indy/Indy schools in the last 25 years in the state’s largest class and the average margin of victory is 31 points.

Or people who have a pulse and have watched the 6A tournament for the last 2+ decades and realize that the real state championship games usually take place before kickoff at LOS. Crown Point was Ben Davis’ 7th toughest game last year…let that sink in.

I just know that there are 24 hours in a day and as someone who IS passionate about the sport (possibly at an unhealthy level, lol) cannot possibly fathom having enough time to spend hours on a message board dedicated to something that they aren’t passionate about. Fire starter after fire starter, day after day. As someone who also loves to be controversial at times and generate discussion I appreciate this trait of yours but when you attempt to double back and virtue signal that folks “take a sport played by children” too seriously I cannot, myself take YOU very seriously. Your one-liners and smug responses to folks on here that have very little to do with the sport or game itself are more so what I am referencing as opposed to your OOB content. I think you love the back and forth, which is great an all but the canvas (a high school football message board) that you use as your platform just strikes me as bizarre.
