  1. I'll take the other side here and like my chances of being proven correct as there are countless examples in every sport that bear this out. Last week's "wake up call" against LN will be fuel and allow CG to focus more upon the Giants this week and they will break open a close game early in the second half...just like last year.
  2. I think it'll be much closer than it was last year and give Merrillville more than a puncher's chance for sure.
  3. While this will be interesting, I am not sure we can make an honest assessment based on this weekend's games alone. They will be interesting data points but I am not sure we can make any sweeping/broad generalizations based on these two contests. I think that the DAC could hold its own in many scenarios if you just went straight down the conference standings, but I think the HCC is superior at nearly every position and even more so (Avon, Franklin Central, Noblesville vs Lake Central, LaPorte, Portage) at the bottom.
  4. One team has 15-20 future NFL players, one has 2-3. Pretty simple.
  5. I see no path unless Cincinnati gets beaten and the Big Ten cannibalizes itself and all three (OSU, UM, MSU) Eve with two losses.
  6. If they had Carson Steele in the backfield, they’d be 8-2 (ducks…).
  7. A good (albeit shorthanded) Virginia team. Don’t let that slip through the cracks.
  8. A brick wall called reality.
  9. Sounds about right. I’ve got a poster @Warren Central Warrior, you should meet.
  10. LOL, at least you don’t hide your homerism. I believe you spewed this same nonsense 365 days ago. Gimme CG comfortably. I’ll say 38-17.
  11. Last week was Brownsburg’s Super Bowl…simply put. No other excuses from this guy but if you don’t think it’s a huge advantage that BD gets a bye to the regional annually in the current set up, you are in denial. Brownsburg gets closer every year but just can’t show up or seal the deal when it counts. That’s more an indictment of their program and not the HCC. They flat out dominated the MIC’s second place team in the sectional final, yet no one was on here trashing the MIC. You can’t pick and choose. Both the MIC/HCC have two teams left and the HCC was 8-5 against the MIC this season. Let’s stop with the hyperbole.
  12. LOL, had a feeling this would be your take. But here’s the thing…last Friday was NOVEMBER 5th and Carmel DIDN’T show up. Funny how we pick and choose our narrative. Sorta like a South Carolina fan chanting “SEC” for Georgia or Alabama while watching them play in the Sugar Bowl after they played in the Meineke Car Care Bowl a week earlier.
  13. Brownsburg’s secondary looks lost. BD receivers running wild. Has a real MSU feel to it. Last week was Brownsburg’s Super Bowl. Some programs just can’t handle success.
