Nope. But I don’t have to. How many transfer requests are made to the IHSAA annually? How many result in the IHSAA “bullying” (your words)? My guess is that either you don’t know the meaning of the term “frequent” or your head is just in the sand. Hundreds of transfer requests are granted/denied annually and very few are huge ordeals that spark public outrage. You’re attempting to paint something as the norm with limited evidence…which is so 2023.

Many of Warren’s issues are self-inflicted. It’s taking nothing away from Carroll or Snider as they play a role but holding calls, personal fouls and pre-snap penalties have more so to do with internal issues than the opposition. If I had just looked at the box scores, I could possibly make the case they just had a stinker against Snider and nearly pulled one out on the road against a talented Carroll squad…but I know better. They folded like a tent and quit against Snider and Carroll was a true pillow fight where both teams couldn’t get out of their own way. As I’ve stated, it’s fixable but tough against their schedule. I’m not ruling out that it CAN be done but nothing points me in that direction right now. Three weeks in a row is a pattern. And, I’m not sure there will any “crow” to eat by either of us at the end of the season as top 25 polls/rankings are subjective. Warren should still easily cruise through their sectional and then CG awaits…they can avoid them all they want in the regular season but there is no skipping them in the postseason. Warren is staring 5-7 (best case scenario) straight in the face right now and I’m sorry…you have to win games to eventually crack the top 25. It’s not a poll for moral victories.

Who is defending the IHSAA? Read next time. I condemned this specific situation in my post as it is a terrible look. However, it’s easy to pile on an organization in these times without knowing all of the facts. I see stories of police brutality and condemn them…but do not believe they are a reflection of ALL police officers. I condemn stories of abusive parents, teachers and coaches….but do not believe they are a reflection of all adults. Lets not paint with a broad brush here. These people are not out “screwing kids” as the norm. And your last sentence destroys your credibility, lol.

Doyel is a hack and always capitalizes on the low hanging fruit. His hit pieces know no end and transfer approvals don't get clicks so they also don't go public as often as they happen. I just don't think the IHSAA "screwing kids over" is as common as folks think. Its easy to pile on a few high profile cases and attempt to paint their outcome as the norm. Back on topic, the specific incident discussed in this thread seems awful and embarassing.

Not a Dabo fan but it can’t be a coincidence that their decline coincided with Elliott and Venables leaving. Dabo is a cheerleader who trusts his assistants and is now being exposed.

I don’t “want them to be bad” for any reason. Even you’ve said “I call it like it see it.” I’ve watched them 2.5 times this season. They are a mess. Fixable, but a mess. You want Warren to be good because it further validates Snider and Carroll. They don’t need any validation. They are in my top 10/11 and most agree. I’ve said for years I wanted more parity in 6A and we finally have it. I was Carroll’s biggest cheerleader last season.

“Playing for” sure…greater than 10 percent…they can match up with anyone out of the north. The problem is Cathedral, Ben Davis, Brownsburg or Center Grove will be coming out of the south. Less than 3 percent.

Yeah, Toledo is a damn fine football team though. I think they are the MAC favorite.
