  1. Although you are 100% right, you are wasting your time.
  2. You truly don’t know when to stop, do you?? I was at a number of his track meets as one of our children was running on the team. He was competitive. But hey, it is impossible for you to be wrong, so time for me to move on.
  3. You would be incorrect….again. CG’a track results for this period can be found. Do the homework. Russ is not his sister when it comes to track speed. He’d be the first to tell you that.
  4. 48 yds was far from his longest high school runs playing in the MIC. You have no idea why Moore didn’t choose to run Steele in track. You dont know Moore and you have zero insight. We do agree that you are speculating at the very best.
  5. you failed to answer my question about how many times you every witnessed this young man being caught from behind on his long TD runs in high school or college? As far as what Coach Moore had him doing on the track team, you are speculating at the very best. You truly have no idea. single dumbest phrase....you might be surprised to know other people's perceptions of various phrases and posts.....😮
  6. Speed? Interesting comment....how many time have you seen Steele caught from behind during his CG days in the MIC or with Ball State in the MAC? Definitely has had some decent TD runs. Maybe he doesn't win a ton of 40's, but the young man has football speed for sure. Bruiser? If you mean he doesn't go down on the first or 2nd hit.....but he is a different back than let's say a Charlie Spegal. I don't see Bruisers as backs that hurdle guys, and Steele has done that pretty darn frequently.
  7. Especially P5 schools in his own state. IU and Purdue only offering PWO's. IU is really disappointing....Carson grows up about 30 miles from campus, 4 year starter in the MIC, state championship winner and Mr. Football, and IU doesn't believe he is worthy of a scholly. Yet Allen will go to Florida and pick up the kids the Florida schools take a pass on, and feel like he's done something. How's that working out IU???
  8. I never stated you said he’d take the Big 10 by storm. But there seems to be a ton of excitement about him coming to Purdue. Just seems his stats at Texas were solid…but not eye popping. My guess is that people must see his potential. I was just curious as to your perspective.
  9. Coach, I realize Hudson Card was a 4 star HS recruit. But he didn't exactly tear it up at Texas. In 3 years and 22 games, he's averaging 138 yds/game with 0.5 TD's/game passing. (11 TD's total) He lost his starting job. What makes you or others think he's going to come in and take the Big 10 by storm? I am not saying he won't do well....but his history is ok. Why is he ready to take it to the next level?? Does he have one or 2 years eligibility remaining??
  10. When I do, its only because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night prior....please don't question my credentials.
  11. I'm with you..Kelly had to know Purdue was depleted....that is why I thought he could have taken his foot off the gas more than he did.
  12. that was a serious beatdown.....I thought Kelly would take his foot off the gas a little more than he did. When I saw them passing into the endzone with a 42-0 lead, (ended in a pick I think) that had me scratching my head. Tough flight home......
  13. Wow! Either someone is still grumpy about the Michigan loss, or someone pissed in your Wheaties this morning..... Is sharing some possibilities as to the cause of such a horrible event really that bad? After all, this is a forum....and I've not known you to be shy about sharing your thoughts......
  14. Quite the comeback for Tulane. From 2-10 last year, to 12-2 this year and a Cotton Bowl win over USC, quite the program turnaround.
  15. you lost me...what year did that happen? I know it wasn't this past season or the previous 4. St. Francis would not beat ISU, let alone by 5 TD's
  16. Gotcha...so the four that are TBD could be anywhere on the schedule...I did see some weeks with openings earlier in the season...that makes sense. I missed the TBD
  17. interesting schedule...5 home games in a row...5 games on the road in a row. That doesn't seem too common.
  18. IU didn't exactly handle Idaho (FCS) this season. ISU and Akron will not be gimme's.
  19. Gifted 2 interceptions? Maybe...or perhaps their DB's simply beat the Michigan WR's and obviously fooled the QB...and that goes back to my point that TCU has a better QB. Agree about comments inside the 5 yard line, but there is no guarantee that Michigan scores even if Harbaugh had been more conventional when he ran the trick play. The fumble was tough and I agree that it absolutely should have been a TD with the pass prior. TCU ran the ball on Michigan at the end to eat clock, running Duggan with keeps....Michigan committed everyone and still couldn't prevent a critical first down. That ate clock and took away Michigan's time outs. When it counted, TCU ran on Michigan as they had pretty much the entire game. That stands out in my mind when a team knows what's coming and still can't stop it. That's not giving away a win...that's the inability to take it away.
  20. I am torn on that comment.... I don't know much about TCU.....I do think they have a better QB than Michigan.....faster WR's....and their line won the LOS scrimmage battle, gaining more almost 90 more yards rushing...and that really surprised me. Michigan was down 21-6 at half and was always playing catchup. TCU made Michigan pay with bad throws from their QB. They ate up those interceptions. Claiming Michigan only beat themselves, its oversimplifying in my opinion, and it doesn't give credit to an opponent.
  21. Good summary..... Michigan/TCU - it is so tough to overcome 2 defensive scores....the 2 pick 6's for TCU was absolutely brutal to the Wolverines chances. I was also shocked that TCU whupped Michigan on the line of scrimmage. The Horned Frogs had 263 yds rushing at 6.4 yds/attempt. They got that first down near the end of the game by running the ball up the gut, taking critical time away from Michigan and forcing them to burn their timeouts. That was critical. Michigan absolutely got hosed with reversing the TD on the pass play. Not sure what the replay official saw that would reverse what was called on the field. The field officials got it right. ESPN analysts at halftime really voiced their opinions that the replay official screwed up a critical call. OSU/UGA - You are right about the Harrison injury....not only did it stop the drive, but having him out of the 4th quarter took away a serious weapon. That was a shame he couldn't return. Both UGA and OSU lost their starting TE's in the first half, and they are both weapons. The overturned 4th down play by UGA in which their TE made a crazy play to pick up the 1st down. What went from a stop, turned into points for UGA. Finally, Kirby Smart calling that TO just before OSU executed a beautiful fake punt play. That also took away a first down and gave the ball to UGA. Great games....hurts for the Big 10. Most disappointed in Michigan. They just seemed not ready to play in the first half and make critical game changing mistakes. 21-6 at half, before they finally woke up and exploded offensively in the 2nd half. I am not sure what happened to both OSU and Michigan's defenses.....they need a ton of focus on that side of the ball going into next season. Finally, I have no idea what is a targeting call anymore.....its obvious that neither do the officials on the field or with the replay team.
  22. I was a little surprised...I believe Vegas made UGA a 13 point favorite.
  23. Georgia better get a pass rush working because their secondary is their weak link
  24. It may have been close, but no way should have call been overturned. Nothing definitive to change call on the field. That’s not on the field crew. Agree with your roughing comment. I am surprised Michigan is getting run on so easily especially in the red zone. . TCU hammering them in the trenches when it counts. Duggan is a saavy QB
