  1. Just funnin' with your coach....your vote, use it where you head guides you!!
  2. Coach, Steele's work his senior year, and his entire career stood by itself in the MIC. I am seeing your connection to lineman...... you are really starting to answer your own questions? I don't think you need us anymore for a conversation!!
  3. Agreed…Coyle’s performance in the semi-state at Cathedral…218 yds and 4 TD’s on a cold windy night was beyond impressive. Racked up a ton of yards against outstanding competition all season long.
  4. "Putrid" offense.....good description....... https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nfl/news/troy-aikman-joe-buck-colts-offense-monday-night-football-beyonce/q9p5nynsporddn7rdjm4pota
  5. I think they are just pacing themselves.......
  6. As you stated, your opinion. While they are different, they each off pros and cons. I may always prefer being there in person, but I don't always make the decision to do so.
  7. As mentioned in a previous post, cost three of us to go live for one game $67. (via Ticketmaster and their fees) Could have streamed for a much lower cost to watch from home with replays and the ability to relax with a beverage or two. Cheaper food prices as well. Almost becoming an incentive to stay at home and watch. I am hoping the IHSAA is looking hard at this....perhaps the overall revenues are higher with the number of people buying the TV/streaming service. Not sure.
  8. Agreed...SC came out laying down the lumber. Seemed like they wanted that game more.
  9. 13th Place!! 13th Place!!!! Hoosiers win the Mega Bowl!!
  10. Nice job Temp. Maybe my bias showing...regardless of record, I would have Cathedral #2. Best in-state competition CG faced all season, and loaded with talented players. I just think they would beat anyone ranked ahead of them in your poll and was 1-1 against the state champs....and that is not meant to be disrespectful of those programs.
  11. My comments about the 6A game attending in person..... Was much easier getting into the stadium this year...last year, it was horrible trying to get in through the gates. (LOS does not open the north and south gates for the event...I guess its a labor issue) Hats off to the Carroll attendance and spirit. Even late in the game with the contest decided, they never lost their spirit. Loved that the Carroll and CG players and staffs got together at center of the field following the game for Owen. Loved the OwenStrong decals worn on the CG helmets Loved that Coach Moore in his post game interview on the field gave a shout out to OwenStrong and the Carroll fans and program Loved Coach Moore and Coach Dinan embracing after the game and talking to one another...so obvious the mutual respect. Loved seeing the Colts Stephon Gilmore and his young son on the sidelines out in front of us watching the game and supporting Indiana high school football I learned that CG and Carroll now have a multi-year agreement in place to play each other during the regular season. This is a quality game that will greatly benefit both programs. After watching Carroll play in person, very impressed with the program. Look for this program to only get better and better! Did not love....the Ticketmaster charges that we have all talked about on GID. I purchased 3 tickets for a face value of $45. Total charge was $67. $22 dollar handling fee? Really??
  12. All true.... What is crazy is that Coach Moore is now starting to coach kids of players from his earliest CG teams. More are coming around the corner. Praying for Coach's health and healing so he can continue to coach his 2nd generation of Trojans.
  13. There were several plays in the game that would have absolutely had an impact. That’s not debatable. For you to single out one play in an attempt to diminish CG’s 3 peat tells me plenty. Bottom line, one team didn’t execute at the end, one team did. But lack of execution wasn’t limited to the end of a game…not even close. I call BS that you and your crew are models of perfection. If you are human, mistakes occur. As an official, why are you even commenting on a game you called?
  14. You took the game to hypotheticals, not me. I know you officiated the game last year. CG made mistakes in that game as well they resulted in missed opportunities for points. So it wasn’t just Westfield. I get it your team of choice didn’t get the W this time around. But it’s poor to talk only about one particular play in that game when we all know no game comes down to a single play. Heck, CG had a kickoff return nullified in the game last year by a very questionable call from your crew. I won’t be looking forward to you officiating future CG games.
  15. And I can also talk about a couple other titles lost by CG (one in OT) by a combined total of 6 points that could have easily went the other way. But they didn’t. Just like last didn’t end with a loss. A young man made a clutch play near the end. How about we celebrate the accomplishment?? Not sure where you were going with your comment to diminish , but it’s disappointing and a tad troublesome.
  16. Glad Grover clarified your statement. Very much exaggerated. CG is a community that loves Coach much more than for his accomplishments on the gridiron. It is a blessing to serve in the youth programs and watch some of his earlier players serve as coaches and board members giving back to the community and having Coach Moore heavily involved. It is a true family culture that Coach has built. He is loved by his Trojan family.
  17. Maybe, but they don’t call our music classic for nothing. Guessing not a ton of today’s bubblegum chewing sound will be on the air waves or streamed 20 years from now.
  18. Sad when he passed. I believe REO came out of Champaign, IL
  19. I'm on board with your statement. I've always said its less about school enrollment size and more about roster size. I have always stated Cathedral should simply remain in 6A, given they are consistently one of the top programs in 6A. Didn't do a great job of disagreeing about Indy area private schools not being included in this discussion.
  20. Yes...but how much did the parachute pants cost? That sounds like a pretty dang good show!! Saw all of those bands separately except for Foghat. REO and Heart a number of times. Always front row seats for Heart and Nancy Wilson back in the day......😉
  21. Few years ago and leading in the 3rd quarter…..ok….definition of greatness I guess….. Confusing as your argument was the top 3 sized schools in the Indy area were winning majority of championships
  22. I gave you Westfield...they certainly cut through the north the last 2 years like a hot knife through butter. Does one have to win a championship to be considered one of the teams in the upper echelon of 6A? You ignored my comment...I gave you 3 schools with over 3000 students in the north that have been pretty darn quiet over the past few years...and a 4 fourth team at nearly 3000. If its all about numbers, why are they getting it done in recent history, at least in the north? Penn, Elkhart and Lake Central. Crown Point is just shy of 3000.
  23. you stated CG's success was recent....I disagreed showing you it has been sustained over time. You were incorrect with your statement.
