  1. Does look like Hartline will remains with the Testicleheads through the post-season. But I did see where they already lost a top WR recruit following Hartline's accouncement to USC. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47189668/usc-flips-4-star-wr-kayden-dixon-wyatt-ohio-state
  2. The hits continue….
  3. Looks like Hartline is off the table....accepted South Florida HC position. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/usf-hires-brian-hartline-head-coach-ohio-state/
  4. I'm your huckleberry....I think it would be a great game and could absolutely see the Ducks beating ND, especially the way I watched them go into Seattle and handle Washington this past weekend. That was a much higher quality win than Syracuse or Stanford...IMO. I personally think that game would be a toss up
  5. Brian Hartline leaving Ohio State for South Florida HC position? https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47189798/sources-south-florida-name-buckeyes-hartline-head-coach
  6. interesting take ...former Steelers all for Tomlin leaving and taking the Penn State job. Is this even a remote possibility?? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47189142/ben-roethlisberger-james-harrison-call-mike-tomlin-steelers-split
  7. ESPN reporting his intention to remain with BYU. Looks like Penn State helped him get a raise from his current employer. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47180286/kelani-sitake-remain-head-coach-byu-sources-say BYU coach Kalani Sitake has begun to inform people that he intends to stay at the school, rebuffing overtures from Penn State, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel. BYU is in the process of putting together a lucrative contract to keep him and Sitake informed Penn State of his intention to remain in Provo, sources said.
  8. I can't believe its taken them this long to get a HC...that can't help for signing day. Looks like the BYU coach Penn State was targeting may remain with the Cougars.
  9. I am not defending Jones as a perennial all Pro, and his injury is absolutely impacting his mobility and perhaps his ability to brace, throw and follow-through....not sure. I am only saying that the loss was not solely based on him. Defense not getting stops especially on 3rd and long, dropped passes, missed XP and FG's, not being able to pick up blitzes, etc. There are several areas in which execution has been lacking. That's all I am saying. I agree about the officiating as well, especially the phantom PI on 3rd that factored into a Texans TD. Also not sure during a playoff chase is the time to throw in an untested QB that as you said, has challenges getting the ball downfield. Stil don't see Leonard as a better option than Jones. But who knows? Maybe his day is coming....
  10. I hope you are correct....they also lost an incredible receiver as well early in the season. But, part of the game. Definitely feel bad for those injured. But, strong programs reload. As always, incredible competition in 6A.
  11. JMU set to lose another coach...this time UCLA https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47167883/jmu-chesney-expected-sign-5-year-deal-ucla Looks like University of Kentucky will have a HC opening....just a few years ago, they refused to play Indiana because they "didn't measure up".....my how things can change. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47159529/kentucky-expected-fire-football-coach-mark-stoops
  12. Sounds like some decent news about Gardner's injury https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/onsi/news/colts-promising-update-sauce-gardner-calf-injury
  13. I may be in the minority, but I'd take an injured Jones over a healthy AR down the stretch. I seriously don't think this is all on the QB. The O line has been exposed in pass protection and receivers dropped some critical passes. Downs drops were killers yesterday.
  14. Stop being so dang giddy!! Sincerely, Mr. Bitterbeer Face Colts Fan
  15. So true..definitely felt that pain for years....
  16. No disagreement...but with a final ranking of #8, guessing they will make the dance. Could be wrong.
  17. IU shared a Big 10 championship in 1967 with Minnesota and Purdue....that was their only co-title in their history. A Big 10 championship would be a huge deal for IU and its fanbase.....for OSU....not nearly as much. Definitely pride on the line, but I think they have bigger things on their mind.
  18. They have UVA 12th at 56%, but I see your point...they should have UVA/Duke at 100%. I guess one could same same for TTU/BYU at 100%. (although TTU may get the invite even if they lose) This weekend is going to get real interesting. Does Bama make it in with 3 losses if they lost to UGA over a 2 loss team? I don't see how.
  19. Guess we shall see....I know a number of IU fans snatching them up when they first went on sale. IU has been traveling pretty well this season. Announcers even pointed it out during the Penn State game
  20. Thought Oklahoma won this week? They beat LSU by 4 at home.
  21. Disagree. Old news for OSU and fans will be focused on playoffs. This is a first and big deal for Indiana. Hoosier fans will show up.
