  1. Say's the guy that started the whole thing by showing a photo of last season's bowl game and bragging about a coach still serving out his punishment for rules infractions. You are that little canine.....
  2. Doesn't Mendoza hit his 3 years? Why wouldn't he go, especially if projected as one of the first 3 QB's taken? (assuming first round) I did notice on his LinkedIn profile, he has his BS in Business from Cal and is working on his MBA at IU. It states his MBA through Dec 2026, which is a tad interesting. https://www.linkedin.com/in/fernando-mendoza-berkeley/
  3. totally concur....what will be tough is CG replacing that OL. 3 OL going D1.....Indiana, Ball State and Central Michigan. TE going to Wake Forest. Some pretty big shoes to fill.....no pun intended.
  4. Fernando!! Co-offensive Big 10 player of the week! https://247sports.com/article/indiana-qb-fernando-mendoza-named-big-ten-co-offensive-player-of-the-week-262018372/
  5. I see how you desire to play the game.... Just giving a readers a more well rounded view of your back patting attempt. Don't kid yourself...it was plenty fun to post.
  6. My post wasn't opinion....it is fact. One coach still has a portion of his punishment to serve for sign stealing.
  7. One of the coaches in this photo served a 2 game suspension in 2025 and will serve another game suspension in 2026.
  8. Me too and completely agree..thanks for posting!
  9. Was not shocked with Warren winning. Knew it would be a close game....they continued improving as the season progressed. Finch didn't play in their first game and that young man is special. Why he is Alabama bound....although would have loved keeping him in state.
  10. Looking on it tonight!!
  11. Not claiming anything. Just didn’t agree with dogging a season schedule when it’s incredibly similar from a strength ranking standpoint to your favorite team. No malice intended. We can agree to disagree. Nothing but respect for you.
  12. Sad…guy was a hitter.
  13. I understand how scheduling occurs. When ND put NIU on the calendar, they expected a win. A “warmup” game. Bottom line, IU’s 2025 strength of schedule is almost identical to ND’s. Maybe you don’t like data, but look it up and read yourself. I provided you the SOS rankings for all FBS teams. ND did start the season with tougher teams. No debate there. But overall, their schedules balanced out. Now, if you aren’t a numbers guy, guess it won’t convince you.
  14. Not sure what the past has to do with this year and IU playing them. Their record and power index THIS YEAR applies to IU’s schedule this season. Northern Illinois hasn’t been much of a power in recent years….but they sure left a mark in 2024, right? BTW, they were 4-4 in the MAC the year they took down ND.
  15. IU largest avg margin of victory with tougher SOS than OSU, TT, Utah, and almost identical to Oregon. (Oregon 32, IU 33)
  16. I know what you trying to say, and true IU did play a true FCS opponent. Sad part is the FCS teams need those games for the operating budget. As Frank Beamer historically stated back when the Murray State coach prior to his days at Va Tech...."Boys, we need a new locker room and Alabama needs a win" But, I was comparing football power indexes (ESPN) and Old Dominion has a better FPI than Purdue this season. Purdue is no cupcake...but neither was ODU...and even Kennesaw State is on top of the Conference USA standings. ND does have the blemishes of Northern Illinois and Marshall from the recent past. Perhaps if there is anything worse than scheduling those teams, is losing to them......
  17. Let me get this straight..... MSU cheats and still stinks....great hire in Mel Tucker.... At least Michigan cheated and was successful in doing so.....a true return on investment.
  18. I forgot to look last night....got to check this out this evening. Thanks for the reminder!!
  19. If the resource I provided was accurate, Ohio State, Oregon, Indiana, Ole Miss, Texas, Texas Tech, Notre Dame, Georgia all under 50% pass to run.....I am not saying you are wrong, but plenty of balanced teams, if not run first, will be in the playoffs.
  20. Are you telling me Army has no chance??? 😉
  21. its all making sense who you really are......
  22. I hear your coach....but there is much more variability on pass to run ratio in college vs the NFL. In the NFL, according to the stats below, 31/32 teams above at 50% and above passing vs the run. In college, many more teams, 88/136 teams have a higher run than pass play %. So is it really equally important that college teams to be successful must have a marquee QB? https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/passing-play-pct https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-play-pct I hear you that great passing and great running are not mutually exclusive. But at the end of the day, there are only so many elite QB's, and the teams with one are at a decided advantage. So in a way, the NFL has skewed the game to be much more dependent on a singular role. Because the QB is so important, on offense its all about the QB, LT and WR....on defense is about the edge and a cover CB. You gave me limited choices. I'm going to expand and say I'd rather have Jaworski and Montgomery; Bradshaw, Harris and Blier; Staubach and Dorsett; Griese, Csonka and Kiick, etc. I know, I know...am I starting to fart dust???
