  1. I am a fan of the success factor, however I am confused as to why we were playing against Cathedral in our sectional. They should have been in 6A the whole time. Mooresville and Roncalli should be promoted to 5A.
  2. At least Lawrenceburg didn't do this against Rushville (they came pretty close though).
  3. You may have a point but you also have to account that Brady Allen is his quarterback which may affect it. But also Jack Tuttle was higher ranked than Chris Olave, despite playing at the same school, and you saw how that went.
  4. No final score yet but Clinton Prairie was beating Tri County 38-7 at one point,
  5. Massive stop for Lawrence Central. Warren leads 8-7 at the top of the 4th.
  6. Brebeuf-North Montgomery just got a lot less interesting. 😒 I feel like the thing that made NM-Danville and NM-Yorktown interesting was the horrid field conditions combined with stout defensive efforts from NM. However, one of NM's biggest advantages got taken away from them, which means Brebeuf will have an easier time escaping the trap. Either way I don't think NM will score a single point in regulation whether on turf or grass, but instead of losing 14-0 they'll lose 54-0.
  7. Theres always that one game that is a little different than the others and that happens to be Yorktown and North Montgomery. 0-0 with 1:33 left in 4th.
  8. Hearing Clinton Prairie and Clinton Central are tied 8-8
  9. Mooresville 54 Jennings County 0 Not even halftime yet.
  10. G9 Bluffton (4-5) vs Eastside (9-0) G10 Whitko (1-8) vs Central Noble (7-2) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- G11 Fairfield (4-5) vs Luers (8-1) G12 Prairie Heights (3-6) vs Woodlan (3-6) This is an interesting sectional with state implications only because of two teams. Eastside and Luers. This game definitely has some potential. Central Noble is a potential underdog but they lost 42-0 to Eastside earlier in the year, and I think Eastside will beat them again after they take care of Bluffton. Eastside put a good fight against a Luers team last year that went to state and lost to WeBo. Who ya got?
  11. I'm liking Eastbrook. Undefeated and none of the games have been particularly close. Gimme Eastbrook over Tipton who I believe will be Eastbrook's closest game up until that point.
  12. EC vs Mooresville is going to be a hell of a game after they both squash their inferior opponents on Friday. Mooresville’ is a great 4A team, however their defense is suspect. Plainfield could have easily hung 49 on them if they didn’t fumble inside the 10 on their last meaningful offensive drive, they were down 56-42 and Mooresville took the fumble to the house. Mooresville’s offense is great, however. The offense has looked good to great in every game except Whiteland thus far and Nick Patterson is a great quarterback. The Danville and Martinsville shellackings also look great on Mooresville’s resume. EC looks like a package. They dismantled a good Lawrenceburg team and their two losses are both respectable (Roncalli and Cincinnati Moeller). Their defense has been fantastic with the exception of those two losses, where they gave up 39 and 35. The offense has looked really nice too. They have put up 21+ in every game and have some playmakers. Both teams will be well-rested heading into that game. Especially considering their opponents in the first round are the mighty Jennings County and Greenwood. However, I will take East Central. If they played like they did against Roncalli, they could definitely pull off a win against Mooresville. Despite playing in a worse conference, EC is going to be more battle-tasted heading into the game, which could help their cause as well.
