  1. This Chatard team seems like the stereotypical Chatard team play absolutely the toughest schedule you can put together. start off rough going 0-4…..reel off 4 straight wins looking to make it 5 before playoffs
  2. What does it matter….they are playing Brebeuf which is a semi state game lol. Might as well be dressed for the occasion
  3. To be completely fair….when you have a top 15 QB in the country and a D1 WR like Rory…..it’s going to be pretty hard to stop them from scoring a lot….and having a QB like Brady can make up for a lot…Could be outmatched 15 of the 22 positions…but if you got the QB right you can win any game not sure where to go with this question but I think you’ll find that GS will have the most kids on the All PAC team lol…which is going to be made up mostly of sectional 32 players anyways regarding tonight….Ballard is a highly looked at DB on boonville…he’s young but the kid is stupid fast and regarded as one of the best DBs in Indiana for his class. That will be fun matchup to see between him and brady/rory….but boonville is 4A and not sectional 32
  4. Yeah we had Scheller….between the 2…offense/defense/special teams….it didn’t matter, could just flat out play
  5. That 2012-2015 stretch…man was that a gut checker for the GS fans. I still remember that HH game in 2014 too. run the spread all year and no bone. People complaining about not sticking to traditions then pulled out the bone after leading 14-13 at the half and milked the clock dry…like of course you still had the bone playbook installed, how could you guys not HH/GS have some great games the last 10 years in sectional 32 Edit: I believe 2014 is when that Crews kid was playing for HH….man was he special.
  6. I hope so…but for it to happen, GS likely has to beat 3 good teams for the second time this year…MTV might not have the history, but Southridge and HH have both flipped the script on GS come playoffs. just gotta stay focused 1 week at a time. Getting out of the sectional is literally 50% of winning it all
  7. Just wanted to point out that Brady Allen is 222 yards away from a big milestone of 10,000 career yards this Friday. Would be 1 of 7 people to achieve that in Indiana and would join Michael Lindauer to be a 10k passer just thought I would point it out as I know it’s week 9 and people really don’t care about this week as much since we are all looking ahead to sectionals.
  8. Is it even possible for HH to have a home game sectional final? looking at the bracket….the only outcome that I can see is that Salem has to beat Southridge then GS/MTV…both of those games on the road unless I’m mistaken on how it works out, it just seems unlikely based on how home games are determined
  9. Oh you’re all good as a GS fan it’s a bit of a weird year. Like I’m confident GS can win every game and by a wide margin but I’m just not trying to pound the drum every week about them and I want to make sure there is some respect given to the other teams…partially so I don’t jinx it….and partially cuz like…HH and MTV and even Southridge are good teams and I’m not going to put out material saying they are bad just because GS has a special senior class imo I’m not sure if HH or MTV is #2. A lot has changed since week 1. I would have loved to see those two teams meet again in sectionals but now of course I don’t want it to happen since it would mean a GS elimination haha
  10. Arguably 1v2 the one thing nobody wants to see happy to see HH on the other side though lol. HH vs GS round 1 probably the least ideal matchup for the sectional just in terms of fan bases and what that matchup would possibly mean to both teams.
  11. Could do it for just 6A if we implemented the 32-64-64-64-64-whatever for 1A format 5A is so much closer to 4A across the board than it is to 6A
  12. Jasper - 6 Ev North - 6 halftime via Twitter
  13. Accurate assessment from what it seems, I’m not sure any of the 3 teams who beat them want a rematch this year lol but playoffs will show how good they are
  14. I think most Princeton fans stick to what they know they are good at which is basketball….which for a Hoosier school, that’s just as good as football in the eyes of most people.
  15. Lol Tigers if HH didn’t do it, no way does Princeton…unless it’s self inflicted penalties by GS and GS stopping themselves I just asked my fiancé who is a Princeton Alum…even she has no hope for them
  16. I think it’s the lowest risk option + gives everyone something of what they want realistically you’re only seeding the top 16 teams of each class. You’re not giving them any guarantees they face the worst team in the regional…the only certainty is that the top 4 teams of a regional won’t play each other unless it’s a sectional championship or better…which is kinda the biggest complaint
  17. Should just have all the coaches from a regional vote on seeding. Seed it 1-4 and then random draw the other 12 for the matchups. people get caught up on sectionals but forget that half of the frustration is that some sectionals are loaded and others are rather light. Might as well just break it up into groups of 16 teams seeding by regional also gives the tournament plenty of variance for year to year matchups.
  18. Oh maybe. But that’s not to say it’s not a benefit….like all perks, you have to use them to enjoy them I just imagine that if in the future GS isn’t doing as well that we could find more 3A/4A sized opponents instead of 5A/6A and then if we have a strong young class then maybe put in the works to get some tougher opponents for their senior year to really get the team ready
  19. That would be interesting I think the bigger concern though would be how much the other schools value the current flexibility. All PAC teams do have 4 non conference weeks that they can freely schedule to achieve whatever scheduling balance they want…and honestly I think that’s understated. Almost half of the schedule. Gibson Southern is an example…have been playing up and schedule 3 5A/6A teams this year…all of them over 0.500 and then Southridge to the mix…playing our toughest schedule to date with Brady as a senior and at our peak….and next year I believe we are trading out Columbus North for Terre Haute South…who is still a big school but not on CNs level….perfect for a year when we lose a lot of guys…making that game a difficult matchup to win still
  20. So….*chews gum*….has everyone calmed down now?
  21. Seen this on Twitter a second ago….too good not to share 🤣🤣🤣
  22. Ehhh maybe. Brady has already put on 40 or so pounds in HS. He was so thin as a freshman. Sure he could put on 15 quick pounds but from what it seems he has been slowly adding the weight the right way. his size is fine though…I mean for context, Justin Herbert entered the NFL at 235 and Trevor Lawrence entered at 215 (two other QBs who stand in the 6’5/6’6 area) So I think Purdue will likely just keep him going on what he is currently doing….but certainly no rush to put on 15-20 Lbs in a year.
  23. Always gotta give props for the deep dive/someone putting in the work
