I tried finding the picture of the GS pancake but no luck. I love seeing them from the OL guys who never get enough credit. is Doyle playing college ball? I believe he had some offers but might have been a multiple sport stud?

Hard to play favorites for that game….Our QB (Sellers) I believe spent the following 4 years becoming a priest. It’s also no secret that despite being a public school, probably 60%+ of Gibson Southern is Catholic. And another good % is some form of Christian. it wouldn’t be the least bit surprising if in 20 years or so (assuming there is continued growth in the area like currently) if a private Catholic high school were to open up in like the Haubstadt area. There might be enough people now between Ft branch and the north side of Evansville to make it happen.

I got that from Twitter dude. That pancake is everywhere on the Twitterverse. but it’s only the 2nd best pancake picture for a GS player I’ve seen there was one a few years back of I believe Big Country Braden tucker….all 6’5 315lbs just laying on top of some poor kid.

As a GS fan who has been on this forum since I was in high school at Gibson Southern over 10 years ago….I love this team but I can’t do this to myself again and look ahead GS has been a contender from the south every year since 2013…like every year…top 5 ranked and all…and we do this every year because we see the potential. I would love for GS to make it to LOS…especially since I’m traveling back to Indiana thanksgiving weekend….but let’s just take it a game at a time. Win Today! Never settle! I believe! It’s not about impacting the team it’s more about the fatigue of doing the same things over and over again for the past decade for GS. If the team is good enough to make it there, they will be there….barring an ice storm and a trip to indy

It’s a free public resource. I’m just glad we have it week 10/11 is generally the most accurate because SAC and SIAC finally play out of conference…as well as most of the state. until then….sagarin is just a way to look and be like “well this team is certainly good”

From what I’ve seen on Twitter/SR1 in the score updates, the Pioneers outplayed MV for 3 1/2 Quarters. but someone on here also said MV plays hot and cold so who knows.

Same except always bet against princeton….especially if your woman is a graduate from Princeton 😂 one of these days I’ll be forced to sleep on the couch on a Friday night

reading what i just commented back….I think I understand how Memorial and Chatard fans feel now. Lol have no control as fans but sure hear 100% of the barking from other fans

the problem with this is that it implies GS did something….and as GS fans we have no control over who transfers in…so people are complaining to us like we are the ones with children and we decided to move so they could attend GS. ihsaa approved the transfers so they must be legitimate considering the number of basketball transfers recently who had to sit out a year in the area…or the kid who had to sit out all of last year for GS because North Posey wasn’t happy that a kid living in Owensville didn’t want to attend North Posey over Gibson Southern….that’s right….a kid who had been living in Owensville and attended a middle school for GS was forced to miss a year because they decided to attend North Posey, which was out of district, their first 2 years of HS the point is….we are just fans…the ihsaa and schools had to approve these transfers and they did despite denying one recently. Why are people trying to imply GS did something wrong

Nothing is going to sour for what this team accomplishes. Whether it be 4-6 or 14-1 some of the comments on here are funny though because regardless of any of this transfer stuff or side chatter….the radio call is still an Allen drop back with a pass to Rory for a Td….bread and butter

As a Gibson Southern fan….I hope CN wins this one…..just so that the sagarin ratings go ballistic and put GS way too high on the rankings 😜 will that happen? Probably not… but I’m hoping for it lol

So is Southridge still running the wing T/option? I know some here think this one is over before we even play, but you still gotta play the game and Southridge has shown to be technically sound and can beat anyone even if they have to start smaller players….see a few years ago when southridges DL and OL were much smaller than GS but dominated the LoS. Think this game will be closer than others think…and will be a nice test for the defense staying on assignment. I think so far we have faced teams that use the spread more so getting to face what I assume is the wing T will be interesting…especially with HH right around the corner with ole faithful, the wishbone lol

Short story is someone is saying the LT for GS is playing dirty for some odd reason and everyone else is just like “doesn’t look like it…just looks like a great player who is pancaking guys” and he took a shot at the refs for apparently missing what he is only seeing…which is why bobref joined in
