I’m not gonna comment on the other aspects to this, but a lot of people anticipated Vincennes and Jasper leaving the BIG8 it has been an ongoing discussion for years how the BIG8 should disband and join another conference. It has been a topic of discussion here every year and this year it finally happened....but it only happened because Illinois moved to a districts system for their postseason and what not....well not yet but they are going to. That left Mt Carmel (Illinois) in conflict and one thing led to another and they removed themselves from the BIG8 bringing it to 6 teams. From there Jasper and Vincennes joined the SIAC. Bville opted out of that keeping the SIAC at 10 instead of 12 with the addition of Gibson Southern. The 4 remaining BIG8 teams agreed to join the PAC and the PAC is now 2 divisions of 6 teams each. it was a wild offseason but by no means did any not think the BIG8 would dissolve lol. Because a lot of us did and were repeatedly asking for it

I mean the last 2 years have shown GS can play above their size vs HC so I imagine they can do similar vs Southport. I just personally feel like the 3-1 record is misleading lol. If I am not mistaken those first 2 years were the HC team led by the same coach who is now at Jasper

While true. I believe the first 2 years were out of the ordinary years for HC. We did have great teams those years but it wasn’t the same HC that GS faced in 2017 and 2018 where Gs went 1-1....shoot. Last year they shut GS out 23-0 I believe

I think the packers will put up 21-35 points this week. The difference between the bears defense and the Vikings defense is about a mile and overall the Vikings don’t have as good fo LBs which should help the pack establish a run game. I would like to see Aaron Jones line up in the slot though against them. I think he possesses that ability to line up there and perform well. Definitely need to attack the linebackers this week

If mason crosby can miss 4 FGs and an extra point last year to the lions and keep his job, Adam Vinatieri will keep his....he will probably rebound for a huge game this week. The man has had a spectacular 24 year career. I’m not going to doubt him now after 1 bad game.

I have a buddy who is a big TCU fan and he mentioned just today that apparently a lot of other programs follow TCU closely due to the fact that they play in the B12 and face high octane offenses all year. He was arguing that TCU often gives a good indication on how to stop some of the better teams even though they in general lack the talent to get the job done themselves.

So someone was generous and shared the football digest page with me and I noticed that it says Southport runs a 3-3-5 for their defense...has me wondering if we will see GS try to run the ball more this game. the titans have been a very balanced team since Hart took over so I’m sure we will stay par to the course but definitely interesting.

Oh man. I’m still young being only 24....but I remember going to the fawn supper club between two rivers and Manitowoc a lot as a kid before it closed down. Because i had moved to Indiana for middle school and high school and have only been back in Wisconsin the last 4 years I had totally forgot about supper clubs until you guys just mentioned it. Packers vs Vikings this week. Looking to go 2-0 on the division. keys to the game: 1) attack Cousins. Force him to be sloppy and fumble 2) contain the run. The smiths did an excellent job of forcing things back inside this past week and we will need that again 3) establish adams early and make sure all receiving options are on the same page with Rodgers. Vikings destroyed the falcons because they weren’t on the same page with the WRs and the WRs stopped in a middle of a route or didn’t anticipate enough. Vikings DBs especially Harris reaped the rewards

How is this a lose lose for Southport? The rest of their conference has been scheduling games against the SIAC and BIG8....and Southport already plays 3A powerhouse Chatard.

I would probably say 2012 when hart first took over....and I would say it was against North Posey (they had a good team that year) and Southridge....possibly HH. But in 2012 GS lost to NP, SR and Chatard in semi state For the live stream i think it was ISCN or something like that. I believe a man by the name of Bob McClure is the guy doing it

I’ve watched more Purdue games this year than I have ever watched because of Rondale along with Karlaftis and bell. Karlaftis is probably going to be a top 10 nfl pick. And I don’t think that’s up for debate really. He is arguably already a top 20 DE/EDGE and he has so much room to grow still along with a few more years before he would be eligible. If it wasn’t for the holds these tackles are putting on GK3 he would have 5 sacks easy by now. Bell has looked great so far even in the shadow of Moore. Works as almost a nice safety valve. He’s going to have an impressive freshman season. this team is a lot of fun to watch and will give the B10 a run for its money I think. They are also building a nice recruiting game. They had this young gunslinger on a visit today....and what better of a day to have a QB on visit than one where Purdue throws the ball over 50 times and for over 500 yards on 5 TDs haha

Sagarin has Chatard with a 99 score and 5th overall ranking after their pounding over roncalli. I think its safe to say that Chatard is a top 15 team this year regardless of class

This will be the first test for GS this year and has been a heavily anticipated matchup more many fans in Southwest Indiana. Both squads enter this upcoming Saturday 3-0. Southport on paper is probably the favorite. 6A school with over 2000 students vs a 3A school with about 650 students. Im not sure if I have seen many Southport fans on here, but does anyone have an idea of what Southport will bring to the table? What type of offense they like running? Notable players? Very excited about this matchup....and I believe there will be a video stream of the game come Saturday.

Well in the last 24 hrs he has apologized...made amends...made a YouTube video of a private phone call with Gruden...got fined 250k....lost his guarantees....and is asking to be released
