  1. Congrats to GS. Very impressive win. Lots of speed. Obviously 18 is solid, but the WRs were really good as well. #43 is a stud. I think GS wins next weekend.
  2. What!?!? Everything I said has been firmly tongue in cheek. I do think this is a close game. I would like to see TW win because they are in our Conference.... Much like the HH & Southridge fans are rooting for GS. Take a deep breath. There aren't many (if any) TW fans on this site... I am just driving conversation. Safe travels up north on Saturday.
  3. IF you like BBQ, highly recommend Rusted Silo BBQ & Brew. Really good food, just a really small establishment. They also have a large variety of barley pops and carryout is available! Home - Rusted Silo Southern BBQ & Brewhouse (rustedsilobrewhouse.com)
  4. Turf... Brand new this year. There is a lot of construction around Tri-West High School.
  5. I don't think this is a blow out or a 3+ score win for either team. I'll take TW at home 38-35. It's a homer Sagamore pick... Let's remember how all of the Southern Indiana Teams that have played Sagamore Schools in semi-states the last few years have faired... Webo drilled Southridge in 2018, Webo Drilled Triton Central (who beat Mater Dei) in 2019, Webo drilled Mater Dei in 2020, Danville Drilled Southridge in 2020. Heritage Hills did get Danville in 2019 however...
  6. I think whoever comes out of the North wins State. Luers, Andrean, Eastside, Tipton, Eastbrook... All really solid teams. I would love to see Tipton get over the hump but I think Luers probably wins it all.
  7. Death, Taxes, Terrible weather in late Oct all guarantees! 😂
  8. Add Webo to the bold, but this is the way I understand it also...
  9. Southmont I am sure Nucor assisted in getting it. Nucor Steel Mill Money, Donnie...
  10. I believe (tough I am not 100%) this year is a 1 year cycle. The SF's moved up/down and that was it. I think all sectionals will be reset after this year with enrolment. That means Webo/Chatard/LCC may move back down to their respective classes based on enrolment and not SF. Again, I am not 100% sure this is correct but how I (and some others) have interpreted the IHSAA info. At some point they have to shake this back out to get everything on the same 2 year schedule. The IHSAA doesn't want to have to redo sectional yearly.
  11. I could see a major conference restructure happen in the next few years (and not just the SAG)... The million dollar question, is who will start the domino effect?
  12. I don't know that Webo leaves the Sag. They have had great success in football, but it really doesn't make sense for the other sports. Obviously Lebanon is the main rival in all sports... In football, I would say Tri-West is probably #2 and Danville #3 especially the last several years. All these kids are growing up playing against Lebanon, Danville, and Tri-West in football. The Montgomery County Schools/Frankfort struggle to get teams on the field in youth and Jr. High. I think Lebanon really needs to move... They are the biggest school in the conference yet they struggle to win in it (and not just football). I am not sure what the Sagamore does for them... At some point it has to make sense for them to move... But like mentioned, I have no idea where they go where they can compete. I do think Danville will look to move also... They are a pretty large 3A and with the growth and announcement of a few housing neighborhoods going in there, I think they will be 4A very soon. Not sure how much longer they stay in SAG. And if they go, I would assume Tri-West will go with them.
  13. I think our Jr. High Coaching Staff would agree.
  14. You're a joke... I'm not explaining anything to you... It has nothing to do with the Sagamore...
  15. I don't care who the coach is... Playing Kokomo wouldn't benefit Webo.. Again, I have no inside sources as to what/why they didn't schedule them but gave you some reasons as to why it may not benefit. It's not always black and white (Webo is afraid to play them)... Yeah, Thorntown/Jamestown/Dover are building roundabouts currently and are looking to be the next Fishers/Carmel/Westfield. 🙄
  16. Ah, Muda... I would look deeper instead of your conspiracy theory of Webo playing a team for an easy win... 1) Kokomo runs an offense that Webo will not see in the playoffs or ever again (it really doesn't benefit them to play them). 2) HC played Pioneer without their Starting QB 3)HC has athletes and playmakers. I don't believe the Coaching Staff at Webo is taking this game as an automatic win. The Offense they run will probably be something very similar that the Stars will see in their Sectional (and beyond if they move on). So why you believe this is a clear cut case of Webo "dodging" Kokomo for an "easier" opponent is anything but that. I am throwing things out that could be the reason they chose 1 over the other... Or as many have said, maybe Kokomo said No... There are thousands of reasons that none of us know because we aren't the ADs/Coaches from any of these schools You may want to look into your Frankfort Program a little deeper... I know when I showed up for the Jr High Game on Tuesday there were ~25 High School players out practicing... They had already cancelled the game because of Covid concerns....
  17. I may be in the minority here, but No. Other than playing a school 3X Webo's size just to play, I don't see any benefit in playing that game.
  18. This is 100% accurate. Webo looking for a game this Friday. It is our Homecoming.
  19. South Put won 19-13

  21. actually it's year 1 of the 1 year cycle. Because enrollment was not taken into affect this past year, the sectionals will be reset after this year.
