Correct. LCC replaced Webo in 2A, Webo replaced Chatard in 3A Sectional. It's a 1 year deal and then after enrollments are taken the Sectionals will be re aligned.

Sectionals will be realigned in 2022 when enrollments are taken into consideration. 2021 the only changes to sectionals are those moving up or down due to success factor.

I've watched it. Absolutely disgusting. Things like this used to be common when no one understood CTE or Concussions... There is no place for this... Not anymore. The coaches should be removed. There is no place for this in Youth football. There are tackle wheels, dummies, blocking sleds, etc. that can work just as well rather than to get a kid (or kids) injured. Not only injured... But you are running kids out of the game doing drills like this.

Seeger and SV will have LCC in their sectional. Not an easy out come tourney time. When enrollments are released, I think you'll see some fluctuation in what classes some of these teams are in. I think Seeger may drop to 1A which could make it interesting come tourney time if they sit in the same sectional with the Wolfs

Luers has to be the favorite... If they return most of what they had in the State Game in 20 they will be athletic and very, very good.

Annual topic is open! And while there was no conference champion awarded in 2020 (due to schools not playing the full SAG schedule), Danville won all their conference games... Danville has Kale Payne and Dostin back and is looking to get back to LOS on Thanksgiving weekend... Webo moves up to 3A after 3 straight State Titles in 2A... Luke Marsh, Connor Garrity, Robby Taylor, and Coppock will be tough to replace... Tri-West lose Cora, Ross, Hendershot and others but brings back Depinet on D. Frankfort showed improvement last year, Lebanon loses some skilled kids (Harker and Reese), and I have no idea what Montgomery County is bringing back... I know Southmont was really young last year... Expectations and thoughts on 2021?

Not worried at all. Just trying to understand what they rolled out and what exactly it means as it seems to only affect LCC, Webo, Chatard at this point. It's not an "advantage" when the same rules apply to all. Your Team could have done the same thing. The fact is the Senior Class of 2021 at Western Boone played in 58 games out of 60 in their 4 years. Those kids (as well as the class of 2020 and the class of 2019) worked their tails off to win State. For you to act like that they found a loop hole to win is absolutely asinine. None of us here in the Western Boone Community will apologize for winning 3 straight titles.

So will the success factor teams (LCC/Webo/Chatard) have to play up for 3 years? I understand this is a 1 year thing because of enrollment numbers, but what happens after this year because no one is going to get 6 points this year to move up (max would be 5 points for State) or is it if they get 2 points (Regional) then they would stay up and if they don't win a Regional they would fall back to where their enrollment is?

Yes, my biggest fear too. We have tried college kids in the past and it hasn't worked out. We may need to look into Sundays in the future.

We haven't because we are a league of 7 seperate organizations that play at different facilities every week. So while one place may be able to do this, the others would probably struggle to get that. The 7 leagues agree on rules and at least 2 officials per game (one must be licensed) but none of us want Dads out there and much like HS officials, no one wants to deal with the headaches of parents. LOL

The Saturday JV games have killed Youth leagues trying to get licensed officials. It's extremely difficult. Even paying $50 or $60 a game to ref a 2nd/3rd grade game. And we typically don't have our schedule finalized until mid-late July and most IHSAA licensed officials already have a schedule or most Saturdays booked.

Tri-West (Northwest Hendricks school Corp) is putting in a big facilities upgrade with includes field turf.

I am not trying to make it anything... Seeger is the only school in Warren County. They have had success. My point was/is that does the success come from good Community support or does the community support come from the success?

Explain Western Boone... or Seeger Memorial? Both have multiple small towns and multiple elementaries that feed into 1 Jr High and High School. There isn't a parade from homecoming around the "town". I think you will find instances of both support/pride and instances of programs that stuggle to get that. It really is what came first the chicken (success) or the egg (support/pride/identity)?

The IFCA All State Teams have been announced and most Region All Star Teams (that lead to the North/South Game selections) have been picked. Why is the AP All-State team so important?
