There will be no Sagamore Conference Champion. Danville & Lebanon have both missed conference games that won't be made up. There is a Sagamore Conference rule that if not all conference games are played, a conference champion will not be awarded.

I have been informed that a rule exists if 1 conference game is missed, no Conference Champion will be crowned. So no 2020 Sag Champion in football this year.

Lebanon cancelled again the next 2 weeks. Missed the Conference game against Danville, will also miss games against North Montgomery and Frankfort. Not sure how you do conference with so many missing games.

SV played Webo last year who had the Mr. Football at the QB position (and is now playing D3 Ball). Nothing against the SV QB, but Wright was the best QB on that field last year and it wasn't close and Wright wasn't D1.

Danville/Mooresville is now cancelled. Mooresville is playing Leo.

I take the scrimmages with a grain of salt. There is no film watched prior, no schemeing, just line up and play... Move kids around and try to get a feel. Speedway had some athletes and had some speed.

Random question... Did your officials wear masks & social distance at your scrimmage?

Yes, they have a class at Webo and they have the school's permission. They do Road Games also (would assume the hosting school has given permission)... I know there have been places they couldn't do broadcast because the facilities wouldn't accomodate... I know they couldn't broadcast the State Title games as the IHSAA has the televised rights (would assume the agreement with Fox Sports Indiana prohibits other televised broadcasts, but I believe they could have done Audio only).

Correct. Webo allows Students to Broadcast games (not just football) via YouTube live Stream.

I don't think that will be the case, Muda..... I think Tri-West, Danville, North Montgomery, Southmont, Crawfordsville, Frankfort, and Lebanon will finish in there too.

They won a Sectional (lost to Scecina in Regionals in 2017) and 2 State Championships. As XSTAR pointed out... When enrollment has been 3A they have played 3A... When 2A, we play 2A. And if we are honest, Webo dominated the Sagamore the last 2 years in which there are 4A, 3A, and just a couple 2A schools. One of those 3A schools went to Semi State in 2019 and in 2018 there were 2 Sectional Champs that they beat (3A Tri-West & 5A Lafayette Harrison) during the regular season. If Webo has to move up due to enrollment or success factor, then they move up.

Caleb Irion has committed to play football at Trine Out of a Senior Class of 18, 8 have committed to play at the next level (I still think there may be 1 more).
