  1. You have the love and support of the Bremen Community. We may be rivals, but we are also neighbors. God Bless.
  2. What a great set of games for this conference! Pioneer vs Winamac- To be the best you have to beat the best. Warriors should win, this is their year. But something tells me the Panthers aren't going to go out like that. Pioneer sneaks it out. Caston vs North Judson- Coach Lambert's boys win. Interested in seeing how NJ competes week in and week out this year. Knox at Rochester- I like this series between these 2 schools. Both places capable of field quality teams some years. I like Radtke and the Redskins. Culver vs SCUM- I am a huge Mike Zehner fan and will route for the Cavs. I think they pull this one out. Triton vs LaVIlle- Lancers are well coached, have speed, size, and playmakers. LaVille wins comfortable.
  3. I forget Mishawaka and Elkhart. Jury is out if Elkhart will be able to replace the talent they loss. Going with the Cavemen.
  4. Bremen needs to clean up miscues. I believe they will be missing 2 key guys (covid protocol) again this week that will provide some needed depth in the heat. I don't know who I would have winning, this series has been back and forth, so it is Washingtons turn this year. I know nothing about CMA this year, so I pick Marian. Jimtown, I see them fixing some issues from week 1. Penn right? Maybe? Adams should win. Goshen, I don't know what can be said for Clay. Glenn, they have some playmakers. NP should win.
  5. Laville had a 90 yard kickoff to start the season. Then went 80+ yards on 3 plays on next drive. Bremen special teams were horrendous, played good defense, offense shot itself in the foot with 3 turnovers including 2 fumbles in the 4th. LaVille has some dogs and players. Bremen has to clean up things. Had 2 starters out with Covid tracing, so when they comeback in week 3 hopefully that helps the depth.
  6. LaVille came in and put up 2 quick scores and played solid defense the whole game. The playmakers for the Lancers were the difference. To many miscues and turnovers by Bremen against a well coaches LaVille team. I have a lot of respect for that staff.
  7. HNAC, NIC, and NLC Games on the docket. Max 98.3 schedule of games for the season. They will also be stream games on their youtube channel.
  8. Yes, a lot of well coached teams. Someone will find a weakness and try and expose it. I think the HNAC is set up to have a great and competitive season.
  9. New Prairie Preview Preview of New Prairie from WNDU
  10. South Bend Washington Preview of South Bend Washington from WNDU
  11. What programs do you admire? What programs do you have disdain for? This is more of a tongue and cheek topic, not to be taken to serious. Being a Bremen guy...... I have always had respect for Jimtown and Northwood. Blue collar schools that played hard and played with a lot of pride. Plymouth and Glenn always grinded my gears. Some good old fashion neighborly angst towards them folks. Statewide I hated Sheridan for the 59-0 pounding they put on Bremen in the 1988 State Title, that was me just being a sad little 7 year old at the time. As the years went on, I have soften to Coach Wright and his legacy.
  12. Here is my weak attempt at making a few bad gueses. Glenn-solid team Elkhart- Lost a lot and dealing with early injuries. Total guess I have know idea on Washington. Jimtown-just because St. Joe- I see them being better this year. Bremen-This will be tight all the way through. Mishwaka-Marian lost a bunch New Prairie- I think NP wins, but may take a step back this year Adams- Northridge is breaking in a new coach. Clay-Maybe Valpo- Penn has to prove to me that they are back. MC- Better program.
  13. I am a Bremen homer, and I don't apologize for that. I think the Lions pull it out against LaVIlle. Bremen is strong on the defensive line with Brody Echenbarger. The Lions return 2 players on defense who didn't play last year because of grade issues and I expect those 2 to help solidify the defense. The Lions will go running back by committee. The receiving corp is young but has a few athletes. Bremen has a good sized experience line with a 3 year starter at quarterback. I expect them to try and control the tempo and run the ball but Nunemaker is a decent QB that can make a play or two to pick up first downs. It's gonna be a fun game and will be competitive through the 4th quarter.

  17. Large number of cases led to the county shutting things down at Shenandoah.
  18. NIC Preview Preview of the NIC from the South Bend Tribune. Mostly focuses on the Big Schools.
  19. Didn’t attend, but I talked to my nephew who plays at Bremen, and he was pretty positive. My friend who follows Jimtown said positive things about them. Said they have a lot of fight in this squad, and bragged on the linebackers.
