Bremen is on a lose one win one streak to start the season. It is time for the Lions to lose one once again. Jimtown has Bremen's number even when Bremen may have had the better team in games the last few years, Jimtown always wins. Jimtown 35 Bremen 22 Elkhart wins this one but I think it will be close 27-22. Glenn should handle Knox, but I don't know what happened to the Falcons last weak. 34-20 New Prairie isn't going to lose 2 in a row, right? 35-17 Adams and Marian is gonna be interesting. Marian seems to be starting to click. Knights over Eagles 35-30 Washington Mattawan

Bremen beat Triton 35-7. Trojans committed 7 turnovers. The game was a lot closer than that, turnovers set Bremen up with short drives. I like that big running back from Triton, that kid was a stud. He reminded somewhat of Zander Horvath from Marian who is now at Purdue. Coach Younis has a good club, they will be a tough match up in their sectional.

Bremen should have a full roster this week for the first time, and Coach Leeper should be back from quarantine for the first time in 2 weeks.

Did anyone mention how out of state games don’t get factored in.

I haven't seen Penn in person, but watching highlights from there games, I am shocked at how small they are. Past Penn teams where massive in size and towered over opponents.

Thumbs up to LaVille, played extremely short handed due to Covid issues against a fiesty Triton team and pulled it out 7-0 in OT.

What a great set of games for this conference! Pioneer vs Winamac- To be the best you have to beat the best. Warriors should win, this is their year. But something tells me the Panthers aren't going to go out like that. Pioneer sneaks it out. Caston vs North Judson- Coach Lambert's boys win. Interested in seeing how NJ competes week in and week out this year. Knox at Rochester- I like this series between these 2 schools. Both places capable of field quality teams some years. I like Radtke and the Redskins. Culver vs SCUM- I am a huge Mike Zehner fan and will route for the Cavs. I think they pull this one out. Triton vs LaVIlle- Lancers are well coached, have speed, size, and playmakers. LaVille wins comfortable.

I forget Mishawaka and Elkhart. Jury is out if Elkhart will be able to replace the talent they loss. Going with the Cavemen.

Bremen needs to clean up miscues. I believe they will be missing 2 key guys (covid protocol) again this week that will provide some needed depth in the heat. I don't know who I would have winning, this series has been back and forth, so it is Washingtons turn this year. I know nothing about CMA this year, so I pick Marian. Jimtown, I see them fixing some issues from week 1. Penn right? Maybe? Adams should win. Goshen, I don't know what can be said for Clay. Glenn, they have some playmakers. NP should win.

Laville had a 90 yard kickoff to start the season. Then went 80+ yards on 3 plays on next drive. Bremen special teams were horrendous, played good defense, offense shot itself in the foot with 3 turnovers including 2 fumbles in the 4th. LaVille has some dogs and players. Bremen has to clean up things. Had 2 starters out with Covid tracing, so when they comeback in week 3 hopefully that helps the depth.

LaVille came in and put up 2 quick scores and played solid defense the whole game. The playmakers for the Lancers were the difference. To many miscues and turnovers by Bremen against a well coaches LaVille team. I have a lot of respect for that staff.

Yes, a lot of well coached teams. Someone will find a weakness and try and expose it. I think the HNAC is set up to have a great and competitive season.
