  1. Per Chuck Freeby WHME 1986 Goshen Grad- Previously at Wawasee and Northridge. This is a home run hire by the Red Hawks.
  2. My guess is we won't know anything until after February count day and most likely won't make announcements until post basketball finals. The first week in April is when I expect to hear anything, and maybe not even then.
  3. Here is the link to the article about Coach Kinzie at Riley. Seems like a good dude, hopefully he stays in coaching in some aspect. South Bend Riley
  4. I think that is hyperbole. No one really thinks that. 2 seperate things.
  5. Can they? Yes. Will they? I don’t know. Plymouth is a proud community and if the right people commit they should rise back up.
  6. I know. But I will hold my tongue.
  7. Moser is a good back for Bremen. Reece Greene should step in at QB. The Graverson kid showed promise at WR. Bremen however loses almost the entire o-line, look for Bremen to take a step back and finish in the bottom half of the division. I am guess 3 or 4 wins max.
  8. The right guy can win there, but it has to be someone to grow the foundation. Glenn’s issue is being a 3A school that is really more of a 2A culture. If they had just a few less kids they would be really good 2A in basketball, baseball, and football. They just have an issue with running into Marian, St. Joe, and Jimtown in most sports in tournaments. Good people in Walkerton and North Liberty.
  9. My guess is they stay. They are getting more students from the southside, so numbers seem to be going in a positive direction.
  10. The IHSAA goes off of the DOE numbers, the DOE takes two counts to come up with an average. The count days are in September and February. So none of the numbers are official yet. Look for the official numbers to be out in March or April.
  11. Yes, it had a 2 hour lightening delay.
  12. Bremen beat Jimtown that night. Last time we ever beat them in the tournament. My favorite memory was the year before when we beat Jimtown in the regional in a mudfest. Jimtown was the favorite after winning in the regular season that year.
  13. This is the first time I have ever seen it.
  14. It was an event in Central Indiana. Indy Crossroads was the event.
  15. Who is the genius who thought it would be a great idea to host a little league football tournament with elementary kids playing 3 or 4 games in a weekend. That has got to be one of dumbest things I have ever heard off. I know they don’t hit like the bigger kids, but the game still takes its toll on the body. Parents and coaches we have got to be better than this.
  16. Your uncle is one of my all time favorite people.
  17. There may be some truth to that, but I don't believe that is the whole truth. Those men are good coaches and leaders of men.
  18. Triton is definitely a team on the rise. I have the utmost respect for Coach Younis. Truthfully, the HNAC is filled with great coaches. From Radtke and Hendrix, Berry, Zehner, Howstraser, Younis, and Lambert. It is impressive what the administration has been able to cultivate in this conference.
  19. Coaches will find you if you have talent. College coaches don't use the rankings to decide on who to recruit.
  20. I’m a day late and a dollar short, I’m just now seeing MD took on Linton Stockton. Well done. The way folks were crowing, folks made it sound like they had a straight path to Indy.
  21. LaVille is a better program, I think it’s 5 in a row for them over Bremen. Hostrawser is a dang good coach.
  22. The tears I had in 88 were wiped away in 89.
