    Bremen beat Jimtown that night. Last time we ever beat them in the tournament. My favorite memory was the year before when we beat Jimtown in the regional in a mudfest. Jimtown was the favorite after winning in the regular season that year.

    Who is the genius who thought it would be a great idea to host a little league football tournament with elementary kids playing 3 or 4 games in a weekend. That has got to be one of dumbest things I have ever heard off. I know they don’t hit like the bigger kids, but the game still takes its toll on the body. Parents and coaches we have got to be better than this.

    There may be some truth to that, but I don't believe that is the whole truth. Those men are good coaches and leaders of men.

    Triton is definitely a team on the rise. I have the utmost respect for Coach Younis. Truthfully, the HNAC is filled with great coaches. From Radtke and Hendrix, Berry, Zehner, Howstraser, Younis, and Lambert. It is impressive what the administration has been able to cultivate in this conference.

    Coaches will find you if you have talent. College coaches don't use the rankings to decide on who to recruit.

    I’m a day late and a dollar short, I’m just now seeing MD took on Linton Stockton. Well done. The way folks were crowing, folks made it sound like they had a straight path to Indy.

    LaVille is a better program, I think it’s 5 in a row for them over Bremen. Hostrawser is a dang good coach.

    Bremen and LaVille is a toss up. Turnovers and costly special teams cost the Lions in the first game. Bremen will try and control the tempo with their run game, but that LaVille defense is stout.

    No matter how you slice the pie, every class will have a dominant program or 2. I always see those programs as the mountain peak, if you want to be king of the mountain, you have to knock them off. That’s what makes winning a state title special.

    Bremen could lose the first week or make a run and get by Pioneer. I don’t think they have played their best football or played to their potential.
