  1. Turftoe has volunteered to take on the role of the Heel in order to stir the pot and create some exchange, it is either that or he is just a big tool. (I'm going with the former and not the latter.)\
  2. Is Bremen missing the same kids who have been out or are there additional athletes going to be missing time?
  3. Bremen Glenn Marian Elkhart Riley New Prairie Washington These are my moronic picks of the week.
  4. The drop off in Baugo started just prior to Sharpe leaving. Demographics have changed and kids are not committed like before. Same thing happened in Bremen.
  5. Well since the top two programs moved up, I guess that is to be expected.
  6. Not to bad, if only I good wager money on high school sports on Fanduel.
  7. In 69 Consolidated with Nappanee to form Northwood, who is a traditional power in Northern Indiana.
  8. Elkhart subs will be playing in the 2nd qt. Glenn bounces back and gets over the Jimtown mental block. Marian over NP tight. Penn by 10 Saint Joe finds its groove. Riley when’s this battle in the bend Bremen
  9. I respect that. I just think there is to many unknowns at Jimtown. I could be wrong.
  10. I was surprised by the Saint Joe and Glenn score. Glenn is still my favorite in the south. The Bremen Marian game was about what was expected to many athletes on the field for Marian for the Lions to keep up with. Bremen was missing 3 starters, so younger players were able to get reps which provide depth when the starters return. Hopefully they get healed up and the team bounces back positively after the loss. It has been said many times, you learn more from losing than you do by winning. Other than that, not to many positives to take from Friday's game. I don't know if we learned anything from Jimtown. I can not tell if that win against Osceola Grace was impressive or not. I live 45 minutes from Columbus and have a lot of respect for Columbus East, what Elkhart did to them should definitely be applauded. That was great to see.
  11. Good late season match-up, good game to use as a measuring stick prior to Sectionals.
  12. Bremen had playmaker Trevor Devine go out in the 2nd quarter with a shoulder injury. He needs to be healthy for Bremen to have a shot at keeping pace with Marian.
  13. The 2nd quarter killed them. A couple delay of games, a bad long snap set up Bremen on a short field, missed a few passes. Bremen played clean and Washington didn't that quarter. Clean up a few things and that score was tighter.
  14. Adams Jimtown Marian Glenn KV East Cathedral Andrean
  15. 10-0 as expected, I am a genius..............sarcasm
  16. Sorry Bob, just saw this. Hope you didn’t starve.
  17. Totally agree, this year is a dad to day proposition.
  18. Does it? New Prairie and Marian are who the south traditionally ran through, they got bumped up, now its a wide open field. Jimtown is Jimtown, no doubt about it, but they lost a ton, and have a new coach in place, a lot of question marks in Baugo Township.
  19. Pretty good write up. I have heard from my buddies that Glenn's D is legit. Like I said in another post, they are my pick to win the south.
  20. Folks are trying to figure out what kind of team they have. I don't think we will have a good understand for a few more weeks. I think Covid is a wrench in the plans that many programs are trying to navigate around.
  21. Here is my ignorant attempt at trying to be knowledgeable. Chesterton Marian North Judson Culver
  22. I have a sneaking suspicion that Glenn is going to win the South.
  23. So you’re telling me I shouldn’t of booked my hotel room in Indy to watch my Bremen Lions in November?
  24. I don’t know if I’d say Bremen’s program has been in the ashes since moving to the NIC. They won the NIC south in 2018 and were seconds from the state championship that year. A roughing the kicker penalty away from playing at Lucas Oil Stadium.
