  1. OK...I guess I did not pay enough attention to that being the kid who spiked the ball. Thanks and I agree on both counts.
  2. I think there was a bit more than just that. He was ejected. That said, did he get an unsportsmanlike penalty earlier in the game? If it's the gesture itself, I would agree it was not much of one, but it does look like there is an exchange with the defender standing close by. There had to be something said because the official who threw the flag did not seem to be in a very good spot to really see the kid point.
  3. I don't come into these often, Buuuuuut No chance a pardon would come from DeSantis. He and Trump despise each other.
  4. This is great reading. I have been a huge Tomlin fan for years now.
  5. If your team is included, how about adding pregame and post game stops for out of towners to try? Even include menu recommendations.
  6. 36 years ago today. I remember this fight well. One of the best rounds I can remember. I was huge Hagler fan then. This fight ended just 5 minutes and 2 seconds later.
  7. While I have retired from coavhing, I still have my hudl account:) I like the new QB for NH; a transfer from North side. He throws a nice ball, and if he can throw it deep, Graham should catch anything close to him. The Dogs have a hard nosed RB as well, and the QB being a run threat will help defenses from loading up too much on Graham. Marion's QB is quick and tough to tackle, so it's an interesting matchup. There are a number of question marks from the other teams in the NE8, with new coaches and/or new systems....these matchups will be interesting to see unfold. Just wish the conference would switch up its schedule some. I saw a bit of Heritage from the Summer. I like the aggressiveness on defense. They have some tough young kids who will see a lot of playing time.
  8. Well, this will certainly cut into his massage budget, but he does now have 5 more weeks of free time to get them.
  9. On a somewhat similar note, I was looking through the high school yearbook for a great uncle’s senior year on ancestry. He actually married our dad’s biological mother, but we always called him Uncle Leo. He is not in this picture, but this is the football team from 1913. Read the names……pretty cool
  10. Etling came in at QB in the 3rd and finished the game. He did well, driving for a TD on his first series.
  11. A couple of IU guys playing well tonight for the Niners. Sudfeld is getting a lot of reps at QB. The Niners also signed Marcelino McRary-Ball who had a nice pick on a deflected ball. The backups on defense for the Packers are very solid against the run. A couple DB’s look lost at times and they have given up two long TD plays.
  12. I hope he gets the help he needs
  13. Not sure what you are not getting about my repeated replies of "stop tagging me". I am not interested in engaging in any conversation with you; stop trying to draw people into them. Your assumptions in attempting to do so are not accurate ones; so just stop.
  14. There are other places on this site to critique specific writers. Stick to the original topic please.
  15. GFY and stop tagging me to stir up stupid shit like this.
  16. I remember that North South game, David Herrick from WC (and then to Michigan) played on the O Line. Those Washington teams were tough too. We barely beat them the following year by just 2 points in the Sectional.
  17. And Hank Aaron’s 715th home run
  18. Think of all the great baseball Vin saw; including the career of Jackie Robinson.
  19. This is awesome.....a true American Classic. RIP Vin
  20. The 6 game suspension was an arbitrator's ruling. I saw this from today: Again, I believe the sticking point for the case is zero indictments. "NFL is appealing for an indefinite suspension that would be a minimum of one year. But perhaps more significant given the structure of Watson's contract, source tells me the NFL's appeal will also include a monetary fine. Money is now a significant part of the equation."
  21. My views are based on the way politicians are voting on the matter. I have no doubt that if the Kansas legislators had the level of control over referendums that Indiana legislators do, that this would not have been a ballot issue. That said, it should serve as a wake up call.
