Give Oregon (Nike U) a couple years to start dominating.......They have money to burn to buy the top athletes. I am not sure anyone even in the SEC can keep up.

Similar to pro sports….you let these gambling sites advertise and sponsor your league or games, trouble follows. We even get live in game odds as part of the pre game show and intermission in every game we see now. And now that this is happening, it becomes that much more difficult to reign in. https://brobible.com/sports/article/iowa-kicker-aaron-blom-accused-of-betting-on-hawkeyes-games-using-his-moms-account/

A couple things....I think the conference needs to just do away with the conference championship game. It could impact seeding in the expanded playoff. While I don't think it is likely, a loss in that game could knock a team out of the playoff. The potential exists for teams meeting each other 2 or even 3 times.

On the top line, tap “Store”. You will see a drop down menu. Tap Donations. -
Terms used are im[portant per the IHSAA Bylaws. To clarify, the 12 practice limit is for use of helmets and shoulder pads, known as competition days, (As you said, 5 of those involving teams competing against each other)Every sport has a limit on the number of competition days they can have. Football is unique because of the helmets and shoulder pads and the contact. That said, football CAN have additional days to work as long as they are not in helmets and shoulder pads.

North -South All Star Game

Several things have come to mind with this. Coaches are in a tough spot. They have less than one week with the players, so building relationships with some is difficult; especially if players are from a rival program. While it may have worked for some time, I have long thought it may not be the best idea to house the teams on the same campus where there paths cross often through each day. Not sure what the practice set up is like. Do the teams practice at the same time? Are they doing one on one stuff with opposing players? Add to all of this, it was hot all week. Sure it has been hot in the past, but tempers are shorter in the heat. Maybe someone could approach Marian U and ask to house one team there while the other is at UIndy. It is unfortunate these things took place, but I also think this shows that there are limits to what can be done by coaches and officials. -
Hazing Alive And Well In The Northwestern University Football Program

Extra effort is involved with the other programs. The Ohio State wrestlers had work to do to get their story out after the AD and school officials ignored them. -

Nope, the IHSAA does not allowed co-ops There is an exception for individual students based on curriculum "Q. 12-8 If a student lives in the attendance area of Public School A, but Enrolls at Public School B (a School which offers innovative teaching methods and has no athletic programs involving an IHSAA Recognized Sport), can the student play football on School A’s football team? A. Yes, provided (i) Public School A accepts the student in its football program, (ii) the student, Public School A and Public School B, each inform the IHSAA of student’s participation in Public School A’s football program, (iii) there exist no apparent IHSAA rule violations and (iv) the student meets all IHSAA eligibility standards and all of Public School B’s standards. (rule 12-4)"

This is a big blow to an up and coming program. Just texting some friends this is what the portal and NIL will do. Programs that are 2nd and 3rd tier programs will be minor league or developmental programs for players to improve their stock to get to top tier programs.

1 for 15 with runners in scoring position...cannot beat a team like Kentucky missing that many chances. the 7th inning was the back breaker....runners sacrificed to 2nd and 3rd; and they are left stranded.

Does not say who the player is, but this does seem to be a growing problem for the league. My first thought was you let the fox in the henhouse, by signing on with these online gambling sites. As a part of every telecast now, we are told what the latest live bets are on a given game before and during the game. https://www.actionnetwork.com/legal-online-sports-betting/report-colts-player-under-investigation-for-betting-on-own-team-pervasive-wagering

The ejection was petty. he was two steps off the warning track. Had he done that at home plate, ok. Even then, understand the moment. It was not taunting the other team. It had zero impact on the game.

Hoosiers softball team was an at large bid in the NCAA tournament; ended up losing twice to host Tennessee, but did knock off Louisville. The baseball team is in the driver's seat in the Lexington Regional; knocked off 1 seed and 12th ranked Kentucky 5-3 yesterday. Kentucky is playing West Virginia in an elimination game. IU plays the winner later this evening. If IU wins that game, they are Regional Champs.
