I guess there are just too many other studies that counter the claims still for me to be completely sold. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa2012410 https://www.statnews.com/2020/07/08/a-flawed-covid-19-study-gets-the-white-houses-attention-and-the-fda-may-pay-the-price/ just two here, but there certainly are plenty of others.

This is part of the video from the group mentioned in previous posts. Interestingly, while the doctor is speaking, in the 57 second clip on youtube, his name is not posted. I said from day 1 that I hope this is something that works, but when I see what Breitbart tried to pull off here with this group, I am just as skeptical of them as others are skeptical of Dr. Fauci.

Sure, let’s look at the other doctors. Here's some more info on the people present. None of who have done extensive testing or research on this Richard Urso is a Houston ophthalmologist who became famous for going to the media and promoting the “benefits” of prophylactic hydroxychloroquine. https://doctor.webmd.com/doctor/richard-urso-e153a707-7fb6-438f-912a-a7a4592c6865-overview James Todaro is a businessman-turned physician who runs several quack websites and is also an ophthalmologist https://health.usnews.com/doctors/james-todaro-913781 Mark MacDonald is a psychotherapist https://www.linkedin.com/in/markmcdonald1225 Joseph Ladpo is an internist. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-jose-lado-yv5xm Kristen Held is another Ophthalmologist https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-kristin-held-y9ccj Teryn Clarke is a private neurologist https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-teryn-clarke-ybbwt All of these doctors have only been published in right wing media, and none of them are involved in frontline care of COVID nor infection control, virology, epidemiology. These are several of the people listed as "leadership" on the America's Frontline Doctors website. But hey, let’s ignore all that, just like so many want to ignore Dr. Fauci’s credentials, right? Or did we just take these doctors at their word? And choose to be critical of just Dr. Fauci? Maybe it’s just a matter of looking for opinions from any corner that support our preconceived notions about all that is happening?

Football Season Options

I believe that the sideline box for the team will be extended from 10 yard line to 10 yard line. That should help. But yeah, there usually are some other adults who like to hang out close by in a lot of schools on game nights. -

I believe they did that with baseball. I am not sure about track and field. -
Football Season Options

Not a chance. For that to work, the Spring coaches would have been told plan on the possibility of playing in the Fall. Not a single one of those coaches associations has been told that. With the official start date less than two weeks away, there is no possible way to tell those sports to be ready. And to have football in the Spring at the same time as those sports? Not a chance. Between Track, Baseball and Football, at least two of the sports would suffer because kids would be forced to choose one over another. -
When I worked at the school for the blind in Indy, one common gag the kids and I would play would be on trips I would drive to the grocery store. They would say take my cane and open it when you get out of the car. I had my sunglasses on already. The looks when I opened the cane were priceless. Even as a Packers fan myself, this is hilarious.

FWCS just announced this evening kids are starting back on August 13th. Teachers asked for more time to prepare for the combination of virtual and in person teaching, as well as putting other plans in place for safety. -
Coaching Change at Brebeuf Jesuit

I worked with Mic for several years while we coached at Cathedral. He is a great coach. This is an unfortunate situation to say the least. I am certain he will find another spot somewhere very soon. Best of luck to him going forward. -

I think you are right. There may just be a handful of programs still playing by the time the playoffs start. The IHSAA will press on. What would be interesting to see happen, is see which programs are still playing at the end and reclassify those teams; maybe even reduce the number of classes. -

I know that there have been several mutations of the virus since the outbreak. Some strains are far more severe than others. -

You sure about that? :) They WILL make decisions regardless of how we feel; that is true. I am not confident at all about the timing of them. -

Here is the X factor in these stats though.....kids under 15 have little to do, and it’s been that way since schools closed. They cannot drive, so their ability to go places increasing their risk was significantly limited from March 13 to around the week of the 4th of July. I really do pray that risk remains minimal to them at best.....but that still means someone will get it. While that is a given, no one wants to be the one responsible for throwing a kid into the fire. I have said it many times.......the stats don’t mean much to a community, school, or family when one of their kids gets it, or even worse, when one dies from it. -
IHSAA made me Smile
Irishman replied to Coach Nowlin's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
This country has not even come close to going to the lengths many other countries did to slow the spread. Contact tracing and surveillance are just two things that come to mind. Anyone have an app on their phones here that sends them a message when they are close to someone who has tested positive? I am sure there are other restrictions they had in place that did not happen here as well. -

Kids are not giving it to teachers because they have not been in school since March 13th. Kind of a no brainer there. -

Regis was always so genuine on any of the shows he did. I loved watching his appearances on Letterman’s show. RIP and Go Irish https://www.wishtv.com/news/entertainment-news/reaction-pours-in-following-death-of-regis-philbin/
