  1. Ok....like all the others before, this one has run its course.
  2. The whole visual of this is priceless. You need a picture, decked out in your Packers gear. The meme would say “because we cannot see games in person” with you in front of the Lion’ and Bears’ dens yelling booooo
  3. Not sure what drove it here in Indiana, but 1989 is when the change occurred here. One would think that the blizzards of 78 and 79 would have been the cause for the changes, but getting it through 10 years later does not add up. I know that Michigan and Wisconsin have both eliminated the 180 day requirement within the last couple years. They are allowed to look at hours spent in different subjects over the course of a year. It also means they can build in time to avoid snow make up days.
  4. I think a number of districts will do the virtual learning drastically different than what took place in the Spring. Here in Allen County, every district has a plan that includes virtual students being logged in for each class period of a regular day.
  5. Wow; go to practice for a couple hours and come home to 3 additional pages on a topic about a decision that has been reversed; and maybe one or two posts about that decision. There are other posts to talk about the general topic of openings and the start of the season. There is also a place for the personal barbs back and forth......direct messages. Oh yeah, there is also the ignore feature.
  6. Good point. The 5A and 6A programs might be ok, IF the IHSAA would make the bye week the first week for all those teams, and then allow an extra game in week 10. That does not help the teams in other classes though.
  7. Just curious in your legal opinion, would a school or district be able to challenge the decision in court?
  8. Timing is everything....just a couple hours prior, the IHSAA went on social media saying they were moving forward as scheduled.
  9. So, it is unclear if they can practice that whole time? crazy.
  10. I meant more along the lines of the extent of their shutdowns; as well as contact tracing and surveillance technology.
  11. Thank you for your service Mr. Kernan; RIP Go Irish!!!! https://www.southbendtribune.com/news/local/joe-kernan-former-south-bend-mayor-and-indiana-governor-dies-at-74/article_848c344c-d192-11ea-ab45-df397c6be4af.html?fbclid=IwAR1RBSeFu7pmmp9VrsQyEipjFayeavAHCyK8OvdF-2SvaYdFSnG-rXcEy-k
  12. Or when countries in Europe did things that would never be considered in the US to slow the spread.
  13. If it is coming from her? No If you are seeing a specialist of any sort; eye doctor, lawyer, accountant, etc. and they tell you that the earth is flat, are you sticking with them? Or are you bailing? I know I am out. As I stated earlier. Yes there are published reports that speak to the benefits of those drugs, but there are also plenty of reports that refute the claims made, or at least say there is not a significant difference in using the drugs compared to not using them.
  14. Never said he did. But if this is the attack mounted against him, then he will certainly stand taller.
  15. My best guess is that the alien dna thing was a major contributor to that. Just a hunch. Most people cannot simply push that belief aside and take other opinions by the same person as credible.
  16. I guess there are just too many other studies that counter the claims still for me to be completely sold. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa2012410 https://www.statnews.com/2020/07/08/a-flawed-covid-19-study-gets-the-white-houses-attention-and-the-fda-may-pay-the-price/ just two here, but there certainly are plenty of others.
  17. This is part of the video from the group mentioned in previous posts. Interestingly, while the doctor is speaking, in the 57 second clip on youtube, his name is not posted. I said from day 1 that I hope this is something that works, but when I see what Breitbart tried to pull off here with this group, I am just as skeptical of them as others are skeptical of Dr. Fauci.
  18. Sure, let’s look at the other doctors. Here's some more info on the people present. None of who have done extensive testing or research on this Richard Urso is a Houston ophthalmologist who became famous for going to the media and promoting the “benefits” of prophylactic hydroxychloroquine. https://doctor.webmd.com/doctor/richard-urso-e153a707-7fb6-438f-912a-a7a4592c6865-overview James Todaro is a businessman-turned physician who runs several quack websites and is also an ophthalmologist https://health.usnews.com/doctors/james-todaro-913781 Mark MacDonald is a psychotherapist https://www.linkedin.com/in/markmcdonald1225 Joseph Ladpo is an internist. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-jose-lado-yv5xm Kristen Held is another Ophthalmologist https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-kristin-held-y9ccj Teryn Clarke is a private neurologist https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-teryn-clarke-ybbwt All of these doctors have only been published in right wing media, and none of them are involved in frontline care of COVID nor infection control, virology, epidemiology. These are several of the people listed as "leadership" on the America's Frontline Doctors website. But hey, let’s ignore all that, just like so many want to ignore Dr. Fauci’s credentials, right? Or did we just take these doctors at their word? And choose to be critical of just Dr. Fauci? Maybe it’s just a matter of looking for opinions from any corner that support our preconceived notions about all that is happening?
  19. I believe that the sideline box for the team will be extended from 10 yard line to 10 yard line. That should help. But yeah, there usually are some other adults who like to hang out close by in a lot of schools on game nights.
