  1. I’m just happy to sit in row 17 section 5 and enjoy big ten football on Saturday. If Indiana knocks off PS, or OS, or Mich. great. Otherwise I’m still all for what’s going on. As was I with Wilson. 7 wins and bowl victory.
  2. I’ll take7 wins every year. And a bowl win. Be perfectly content with Allen.
  3. I will restate , they have made improvements each year. It is a pipe dream to win a bowl. Don’t think it isn’t. This will be the measuring stick for coach Allen this year. And at the end of the day ,it will take away the progress Tom Allen has made. If they don’t win a bowl.
  4. I’m anxious to see how the next season plays out. Indiana is not there yet.The jury is still out on whether Indiana can parlay the recruiting ,into a season that ends with a bowl victory. This has to be the next step to validate Allen , as a program builder. Seems like , for the last four to six years, everyone thinks it’s the season to break through. And then no cigar. Not that there aren’t improvements each year, in my evaluation.
  5. One team missing on the crystal ball list is Columbus East..
  6. So, what other sports do golf participants, participate in? In high school. Curious
  7. Sure, but the good coaches, who can adjust, still produce. Have winning seasons.
  8. What was he thinking? PU all the way.
  9. This is why some programs never come out of mediocracy. Coaches who can’t adjust. And there are several.
  10. Outlandish! That is one of the nicest things I’ve heard people say about DT. Funny, I have nothing but respect for DT. Outlandish or not. First Day!
  11. Successful coaches, who don’t ,or haven’t had the unlimited talent pool of certain programs ,always tweak their schemes to take advantage of the resources (students) that come out to play. In my area,Two very successful coaches come to mind, who no longer coach are, ex Columbus East coach and ex Bloomington south coach.
  12. Youth football in bloomington is a fraction of what it was before Myron left the first time. Thus the decline in Talent for South. Moriority got as much out of the limited talent as anybody could. New coach doesn’t seem to have much charisma . Mo wasn’t able to get them back to the highest level. I don’t see Gabe Johnson getting any further.
  13. I would feel real bad, if, New Haven changed their name to New Haven Poodles. Ok , now I see what you mean.
  14. Is this petty slow time discussion? Uh, what does this do to the school as far as their performance in any of the sports? Explain.
  15. Yes
  16. Another ,of the brothers , committed. Family affair
  17. Yea, but Buffalo always passes when the wind is at their back. Seems to me like Chicago always tries to get the passing game going when the wind is into their face. Am I wrong?
  18. The mega schools are in their own little world. (Indianapolis) Keep it as is. The rest of Indiana can have fun with the other classes.
  19. Lol, you have had a ‘stop and sea”sandwich? You know they recruit, don’t you?
  20. Expand? I was just picking, not betting with the odds makers.
  21. That whole last season was a real enigma. Mentally challenging year, all the up and down play that they had. He probably wants to put it all behind, a change of scenery is his way of getting there. But I still like the indiana guys to stay in state.
  22. Man, sure would have been good if the Indiana boy, Armaan , stayed.
  23. I’m sure he was cleared of the allegations. I’m glad they ( the university) didn’t knuckle under to the liberal, cancel culture. He seems to have fallen behind in the Pack 12. Look at the other schools this year. Man it was a hammer of a conference. Also, notice the women’s program, getting to the finals?
