Yes, had to go look at film to remind myself, but we took the ball in the 4th quarter and ran the ball 12 straight plays and the 12th play was 3rd and 1 from the 5 yard line that play gained 3 yards and made it 1st and goal from the 2. 2 knee outs and after that. Game was essentially over when we got that 1st down. With Sectionals the following week, the job was done, no need to run any more at that point. I learned long ago that you can only concern yourself and your energy with things you have control over. ME THINKS, someone is having some fun at the expense of the Blue Devil faithful.

I think you know how I feel about all our boosters, regardless of the reason they decided to donate. I signed in this morning and saw the message from @DK_Barons pulled the plug on it So if it makes you feel better, I was not emailed either, I know that there wants to be some grand conspiracy about the inner workings of our leadership team and the reasons why decisions are made, simply put, its just not the case. I will ask you this @swordfish and @Muda69 Sell me on why we should keep that section as is? What purpose do you both feel that the section provides to the overall health and well being of our website. As they say in AM radio, I will hang up and listen........

considering 95% of the "drama" and "reports" stems from that section of the website that truly serves no purpose, @DK_Barons pulled the plug on it which I fully support. It truly has turned into a personal political playground for about 7-10 users and continue to go around and around and then it goes too far and lots of energy is used to to moderate that section that serves no purpose to our sport of Football. Coach Tim Adams original foresight into that section was a place where you could put on blast your favorite sports teams and players and to a lesser extent a place where folks could banter with @dawgieinthepound back in the day. Those days are long gone and now its just pure stupidity from my seat. Do not have to agree with my sentiment about it, but I personally have had enough of that section going on 4 + years, which is sad because it could of be utilized as a nice section to promote new ideas, pop culture, show/book/etc recommendations, express different Hobbies and such. Instead its a non stop FACEBOOK lite where everyone gets all twisted up and non stop political garbage spews... rinse repeat. That is my answer. I did not tell DK to hit the eject button, but I made my stance clear on what I thought about the section, however, I am just 1 lone voice. The fact that I have spent any energy on this even right now is tiresome to me, but I did feel the need to at least give @Muda69 my thoughts on it. Bottom line: Our website sole purpose was created for the promotion of Indiana High School Football, its players, coaches, communities that participate in it.

Has there been a ND head coach who could of been an equally successful as an NFL head coach, BEARS or otherwise ? I do not see Lou Holtz being that guy in NFL I do wonder the career arc of Charlie Weis, if he stayed in NFL who where would his first NFL gig been? I say Bears after Lovie. ( wish he could have hired competent offensive guys when he was HC, I really liked him and folks still think the organization hasn't recovered since that decision). That could have been Weis gig.

Though the brand of ND is ELITE for college football and its vast alumi base, I just cannot see how it out kicks an NFL original team such as CHICAGO BEARS. Sub out Bears with say Carolina Panthers, then ok, ND gets the nod. Now, onto coaching, the pinnacle of a coach is NFL head coach. Does not matter the franchise, the answer should always be NFL over College when it comes to value of coaching jobs. Nice topic to discuss

Fingers crossed that the trend continues to go up up and up more to schools playing each week and getting their games in, but reality is that any school/team is 1 positive case from taking a backseat for a bit. So it goes. Speaking solely from the perspective of the team/school I work with, I cannot be more proud the way out boys have adapted to everything both in and out of school and practice. They certainly can be commended for their approach.
