  1. Agree....Alex is a great dude and got a pretty raw deal at Southport. Still, can't believe he went to the P/P dark-side.
  2. Hopefully it is not a mud bowl like it was last year.
  3. I know way back when, the Creek visited SR in a regional (back in the good ol 2A days) - that didn't go well for IC. Wonder if there are any other times Indian Creek has matched up with the PAC??
  4. Many football coaches are AD’s at smaller schools…is this the “admin” position he is leaving for?
  5. Same…rematch of last years classic and no one is saying a word?? I miss MinerPride and his contributions to the site. I gotta believe in the law of averages and that the Braves get it done this year. They are GOOOD and haven’t really been challenged this year.
  6. Bloomington South/Floyd should come here. We have one of the best stadiums (seating wise) to accommodate both home and visitor
  7. Is Marian a private/parochial school??
  8. No I get it...we earned it, so we got to wear it. That said - I'm going 42-14 Titans in this one. Best of luck!
  9. Touche- and we will just agree to disagree on this one.
  10. North was the first game post Mallory injury - and I think there was a little shell-shock there going on...and that's a pretty funky offense to defend the first time seeing it. Reitz the offense again couldn't get out of their own way Mallory seemed to give them a jolt of energy last week - but again, I don't see them being able to slow down the Titans.
  11. Well....we do the best with what we got. We're not all blessed with man-eater D-Linemen. .....(don't say it....don't say it....) Or, we're just not as fortunate to get them from other schools when we don't have them. Dangit- I apologize - we were playing nice. I seriously hope you all beat MD by a million
  12. Hehehehe....hey you said it this time , not me.
  13. Well...nobody is a LOCK - but they are a pretty heavy favorite I would imagine. In your mind - who gets in their way??
  14. Sure...we all agree football is the ultimate team game - but to act like not having or having a limited Mr. Football candidate won't impact the game is just asinine. The Pats may very well still win - they are THAT good, but they might not.
  15. I get it...good players make good schemes - but it just seems like SOMEONE would make them turn to page 2 at least. I mean, EVERYONE in the stadium knows what is coming (I would guess....again, I've only seen highlights, so maybe there is more to it than I realize) . Do they throw at all?? And I'm guessing their defense is pretty salty, so getting the ball back quickly also helps.
  16. Well sure ...and success breeds success and thus, some "names" that might have traveled over to MD in years prior have stuck around, or heck, even joined up from Evansville and surrounding areas.
  17. Well- that is back when they (MD) were getting their (GS) best players ....since the Hart-era began, that isn't happening anymore Sorry, couldn't help myself
  18. OK - not sure this is the thread for this discussion - but for the life-of-me, Knox must be unbelievable at what they do and their O-Line must just be man-eaters, for this (offense) to continually work?!? I mean, the Single-Wing is AWESOME (see Brownstown), but this isn't even really a ball deception/spinner deal. Now, granted, I've only seen highlights - but for the life of me, can northern defenses NOT figure out how to stop/slow down this direct-snap power run game?? Like seriously ...what am I missing?? I'll eat my words come Lucas Oil time if they make it and put it on Gibson Southern, but I just can't see that happening.
  19. We all know the elephant in the room. The Pats aren't a one-trick pony - BUT - if that one pony is hobbled up - it is a complete game-changer and gives the Wildcats a good chance.
  20. Would be interested in Bobref's take on this scenario
  21. Oh wow....that's a tough one. Would hate to be the White Hat in that scenario - but I think he got that one wrong.
  22. I was wondering the same thing - if the QB is hit while in the process of trying to get a throw off - seems to me IG would be a tough call to make. Now, being "in the grasps" and just randomly throwing it to avoid a sack is completely different and actually at the heart of the rule. So - which scenario was it??
