Oh, I know student enrollment for the four grades is 930. That number is within the bottom third of Class 4A. A couple of years back, the enrollment was about 1060. And yes, then they were playing in Class 5A. Not every year will produce a banner season with the changing of the athletes' blend. There must be a reshuffling of top performers between all of the eligible athletes; usually, these are from grade 10 through grade 12. Then, there is the change of the position's coaching staff from year to year. Some stay many seasons, and others want to find out how effective they will be in their responsibilities. They make their enthusiasm known and stay for another season or more,e relishing their time with the athletes. Others make an early exit after a season or two. You can use a sturdy 'VIDEO TRIPOD' (not a still camera tripod; they're not the same), and a quality Video 'SD' Card recording camcorder style camera (Not a dual purpose still camera/video camera), because you'll need the powered zoom feature. At one point, you so noted, the at administrator's of each of the schools accepted an idea for consideration, and by a vote of yeas and nays turned it down. It will take a lot changed hearts to even consider some new, or even an older idea. Where do you believe your most recent idea of a proposal would be going, if you could find a few administrators to again consider your idea of a plan? Do you want to guess, or would you rather, all of the readers of your idea to guess?

Well, everyone can chime in here until there're 'blue' in the face, but none of these many years of discussion about this topic, and on this forum, can not and will not go anywhere until such a time, that the public and non-public school corporations of the SAC have decided this is what they want to do. Such changes expressed here have no horsepower to see something accomplished at all. There are only two Interscholastic sanctioned sports in the SAC, where ten schools are represented. All of the other sports, with the exception of men's and women's basketball, have only eight schools represented; I.E., Homestead and Carroll are not part of the SAC for those, and as I believe, this is the way it was originally designed. To formulate a different plan, would obviously take a bucu load of campaign lobbying before achieving just a consideration. I have no additional input for even beginning such an effort, whereby, I'm only pointing out the obvious.

Calhoun you state; the school address is 333 E. Paulding Road, and the Eastside of the Luers stadium is actually along S. Lafayette St., but the address for the Stadium is Doan Drive.

They, being Bishop Luers High School, are just lucky to have a stadium of any description. Back in the 1960's and 1970's the Athlete's (Football) Father's Club had set up a fund raising program for just this purpose. On Sunday evenings after Sunday evenings for many a year, these dads hosted card parties (that's Catholic slang for BINGOS) in the school cafeteria. The Mungovan Family helped out from day one, so also did Thomas 'TUCK' Tone, and many others of that time. At one time the school principal wanted the raised funds to be turned in to the school's general fund, but the Club President, did not capitulate, and continued to keep all of the funding separate. Eventually the very basic stadium was constructed, and with repurposed stadium lighting from some baseball park, which the club had purchased, and relocated. Now I'm sure some of my details are sketchy. So, someone has mor information about this very old project, be my guest and have at it.

Why didn't anyone who knew what was going on shed some light that BDHS Media Productions was handling the 'LIVE' Stream on YOUTUBE. The commentators are knowledgeable: I.E., Eric Pete, and Cory Kitchen, along with Sean McBride on the sideline. The quality of the video is somewhat marginable because four different B.D. students, during the game, are camera videographers'. A couple of B.D. teachers are the moderators. Last night's video was quite dark, because the wrong (iris) lens opening aperture was employed.

It appears they're just following the example of the FWCS teams in the Conference. And if the IHSAA knows about the FWCS, then certainly they should know about the 'CADETS'.

How do you believe this group of Bishop Dwenger seniors performed as freshman for their nine game season? They won all their games of the eight conference teams they played. Game 9 was a substitute game fill in for one of the conference team that wasn't able to fill an all frosh squad. So, they played the DeKalb 'Barons' at Waterloo, for the win.

This is so accurate. And this situation has been around for about 40 or more years. My question would be this. How was it, that the state of Texas was allowed to initiate this phenomena without the non-public schools bulking and filing any litigation for being discriminated against, just because they are non-public? Was it one of those issues, where the public majority schools had the upper hand with no repercussion?

These guys are truly 'jacked'! Anytime you can view that much lean muscle mass, and the cephalic and basilic veins which are very fluorescent, that tells you a great deal about the weight training regimen of these young men.

You do understand, in other states and with their High School Athletic Associations, some where successful with the idea of placing their non-public schools in a tournament of classes but based only on their non-public status. In other states some non-public schools viewed this procedure as discriminatory, and in such a way, that some of them filed a lawsuit to have it sorted out in the courts.
