With a stagnated student enrollment at 1800 with no signs of growth, the new norm in Northern Indiana will likely go through Crown Point and Carroll (given Buzea and Dinan stick around.) 3) Absolutely. I'm not betting on an even up win for the north anytime soon. But to state that THIS YEAR'S Crown Point Team would have three or four losses on their schedule as FACT is still a little bit of bias. Sorry, it just is. 4) I don't mind a friendly bet. I'll take Crown Point against Westfield this year. Give me 10 points since it's been decided that Indy is still light years ahead of anyone up north. Gimmie 14 points when CP takes on Lawrence North. I think that's fair. Lol, so you are from Indy, glad we got that out of the way.

Three losses seems to be the consensus for Crown Point, it's all speculation. It's really not even worth the conversation. There is no way of knowing how Crown Point would fare with an all Indy schedule. Do I think CP would be 8-0? Probably not. Do I think they'd have three or four losses? Lol, there's NO way of knowing, there just isn't. "Other posters" state CP's speculated losses as fact. They have a great program under Buzea, and honestly, I don't think the Indy contingent is ready for the idea that there might be a team up north who are better than they are.

I meant to say Crown Point, I think you understood that. I agree with you that Crown Point was, at best, the fourth best team in the state last year. But it's also hard to deny that CP keeps getting better under Buzea. Just because they lost to Ben Davis by 28, doesn't mean they'll lose to LN this year by 28. In fact, I'll be at that game hopefully sitting with Temp and Fastpace. You, Rodney, and Komets might want to join us. Can we agree that Crown Point has improved every year under Buzea? One word answer: Yes or no?

I think the point being made is that Crown Point is better this year than last. Crown Point has improved every year since Craig Buzea took over. If that's true this year as well, Westfield will have their hands full. Anyone who can't see that there's an upside with Crown Point is blind.

I have an axe to grind because I won't consider small school New Pal as a Top 10 team? My stance on New Pal hasn't changed in a decade. Arguably the best program in the state pound for pound. One of the best coaches in the state. Respect all the way. The largest schools in the state dominate the Top 10, that's not a slight on the Dragons. New Pal hasn't beaten anyone this year. No way this tiny school should be considered for the Top 10. Too much stock is being put into the Sagarin ratings, and posters on this forum are buying into it. I'm not. I might change my mind after Thanksgiving weekend. But right now, I've got them closer to 20.
