  1. I watched the second game against North Side. I was impressed. Offense looked like a well oiled machine.

Arrogant or not, Cignetti's the real deal. His confidence was off-putting to some on day one, but he walks the walk.
  3. Columbia City is the fourth best team in the HCC and East Noble is better than Snider (lost to Snider by 25)................this week in Sagarin. Deficiencies my friend, deficiencies.
  4. Not sure we can draw that conclusion based on one week. I haven't seen these teams play in person. Maybe Carmel wins that game 8 of 10?
  5. I get that, somewhere between 18-25. But are we hitting the panic button based solely on their loss to Brebeuf? Or is it something else? Damn, they lost to Westfield by 3! How good is Trinity?
  6. What's going on at Carmel? It appears that they had one bad game against Brebeuf.
  7. Ding ding ding.
  8. Snider has some good young running backs, they just need some holes to run through. Enter Landen Fry. Great move by the Snider coaching staff. This game was also an example of what Snider can do if they stop messing around with the pass, which are drive killers. Run the ball 80% of the time, and they're a serious threat to win the sectional.
  9. Fall asleep Komets? Snider 14- Homestead 0
  10. The longer I'm on this forum the more I realize that you and Komets are smarter than I am.
  11. Mishawaka and Warsaw over Merrillville and Valpo in a doubleheader.
  12. Hmmm..............well. I'll plead the fifth.
  13. That's what I was getting at. Offense is young though. If they persevere, they have the ingredients to be pretty good next year.
  14. Not sure if it was just me, but Snider's defense looked deflated after they went down 14-0. That first touchdown coming on a six yard drive after a turnover. Sullivan had a great game, but the defense just didn't seem to have that intensity for four quarters.
  15. It's only accurate if your team is ranked 3rd.
  16. Carroll wins. Concordia wins. Luers seems to keep getting better. I like them over the Legends by 3-10 points Northrop's QB is a game breaker, but I think the Saints figure this one out. Snider and Homestead is a pick em for me.
  17. Homestead's taken four of the last six, but only one of the last three. Should be tight. Low scoring game.........14-10 or 17-14.
  18. Does past performance determine current rankings? Ohio State is #4 and Indiana is #48. If OSU played IU's schedule and posted the same scores and vice versa for IU, would IU be ranked #4 and OSU ranked #48? Confused.
  19. I second that. Jimmy put the ball in perfect positions for his receivers on several occasions.
  20. I still think there's a lot of flaws. Some teams know they can beat their opponent 60-0, but they knee the ball before halftime 10 yards away from the endzone. Ends up being a 42-14 game after the second stringers see some action. So many factors, hence so many flaws.
  21. Carroll's homecoming was last night. Dinan was passed by for the Snider head coaching position several years back. It's bittersweet when he comes away with a victory.
  22. It just hit me, I'm seeing now why you're putting so much stock into Sagarin.
  23. Noted. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Snider, that poll for the most part looks pretty darn accurate. I'm really intrigued with Fishers, Concord, Mishawaka, and Brebeuf Jesuit this year.
  24. Furthermore, since you love Sagarin so much, East Noble is #35 and Snider hammered them. So please define "anywhere near." Look, Temp laughed the score last night, mostly because the games and scores, as he suggested, are just hard to figure out. It's hard for someone from two hours away to just "look at a score" and conclude that a team is pitiful..............which is what you're doing. A simple "Snider's too high in my opinion" would have been sufficient and made you look somewhat objective in the process. When did I say they were Top 25? I'm just challenging your "anywhere near" remark.
  25. Here we go with Sagarin just five weeks into the season. Look, no one is saying Snider's a contender to win the 6A championship. That's only reserved for great programs like Cathedral. But you're "anywhere near" remark is, well, off the mark.
