    In the past Southridge has beat Mater Dei in the sectional in a year when Mater Dei was the SIAC champion. Another year Southridge was beat by Central (the SIAC champ) 28-20. Central lost in the sectional that year to Jasper 8-7. Southridge beat Jasper that year 20-14. So I think it is fair to say when Southridge is good they can play with most teams in the SIAC and have a good chance to win.

    I agree. Looked at one way the winner of Sectional 30 this year is the State Champ in waiting. And they most likely will be waiting a long time. No current Sectional 30 team has ever played in a state championship football game. I don't think that is going to change anytime soon so, yes they are waiting.

    Did the automatic running clock when a team is 35 points ahead start in 2018 or before. I think Southridge was up 35-0 in 2018 but not sure if that was the rule back then.

    I was at the game but I asked a few people that watched the stream and they said they did not have any trouble.
