  1. Still a national champion Both Riley and Moore have the ability to move up or down. Riley is a season away from joining James Franklin. Ryan Day is 70-10
  2. National Champion -Ryan Day Really good coach with bright future -Dan Lanning Program builders who do more with less -Curt Cignetti -Bret Bielema -Kirk Ferentz Born on 3rd base -Lincoln Riley -Sherrone Moore Can't get out of his own way -James Franklin The rest Here's what CBS thinks https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-ten-coach-rankings-2025-ryan-day-remains-on-top-with-curt-cignetti-bret-bielema-among-biggest-risers/
  3. They aren't a threat, there's just zero reason (or upside) as to why a B10 team should be playing an inferior opponent on the road. Would Ohio State or Michigan voluntarily play in Charlottesville? Of course not.
  4. Clemson might be the best team in the country this year. They have one of, if not the most talented rosters on paper next year with potentially 6 first round draft picks. Will know out of the gate for sure as they open up with LSU. I think he could be even a better recruiter in the SEC.
  5. Why wouldn't they? There's zero upside in playing Virginia....only downside. IU and the rest of the B10 already play 9 conference games and subsequently 9 P4 opponents. Until the SEC gets rid of their 8 game conference format, no reason IU or any B10 team for that matter should handicap themselves by playing 10 or potentially 11 P4 games in the regular season. It's not needed.
  6. correct. With the amount of time these guys spend on campus/online availability, graduating in 3 years is more and more common these days. Factor in redshirting and it's very possible to graduate and still have two years of eligibility left.
  7. I think all but Elijah Hughes finished their undergrad at their previous destinations so therefore are considered graduate transfers. ND took a very good underclassmen safety from Northwestern a few years back, so they do accept some non-graduate transfers. But it's rare and usually from another university with a similar prestige.
  8. They have a kid committed to Alabama (Finch) and another trending towards Ohio State on that side of the ball. Believe they pulled in a few transfers as well who have D1 offers. Unless their new coach is in completely over his head, they'll be a tough out for anybody.
  9. You still can't refute that at least half of the 5A title have been won by schools who aren't traditional 5A enrollment schools. That's exactly what watered down means.
  10. Agreed. IHSAA screwed up splitting up 5A into two classes. Top 32 enrollment schools should have formed 6A and the bottom 32 enrollment schools should have formed 1A. A 64 team class comprised of the 32 5A schools and the top 32 enrollment schools in 4A would form a pretty darn competitive class.
  11. Ok? Doesn't change the narrative that 5A has been dominated by schools outside their enrollment classification. Believe Columbus East won it in a year they were up due to the success factor and Valpo won it in a year where they were 6A by enrollment but in 5A due to Cathedral being in 6A but could be wrong on that. There are some very good 5A enrollment schools, don't get me wrong, but 5A is the weakest class top to bottom and it's not really close and has been since the implementation of 6A. To argue otherwise is silly.
  12. 5A has been largely watered down since the inclusion of a 6th class and the inception of the success factor. It's been dominated by 4A enrollment schools.
  13. They were 10-2 and 6th overall in Sagarin last year. 20 seems oddly low. Think they’re much closer to that than 20.
  14. Coaching means a ton, but still fail to see 19 teams better than Warren given the overall talent level they possess. They are one of, if not the most talented team in the state next year...at least on paper.
  15. Scary to think that the defense will likely be better than the offense IU has two legit All-American's in Ponds and Kamara and Fischer should be an all-B10 quality LB as he was last season.
  16. I didn't realize misdemeanor reckless driving charges, which more times than not amount to a ticket, is the same thing as a felony gun charge? Less than 24 hours before a game no less.
  17. My personal favorite is Mazi Smith, who was arrested and booked on felony gun charges on Friday October 7th back in 2022 and suited up less than 24 hours later like nothing happened. Wasn't suspended at any point during the season despite later pleading down to a lesser misdemeanor charge. https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor/2022/12/loaded-gun-large-amount-of-ammunition-found-during-mazi-smith-traffic-stop-records-show.html Just further proof that Michigan thinks they're above the law with zero regard for any rules.
  18. Whatever helps you sleep better at night.
  19. Stallions didn't impact the games in any way? Michigan's recruiting violations that have netted three different show-cause bans from three different coaches didn't impact the games in any way? Denial is a river.
  20. We still pretending Michigan's only transgression is over a cheeseburger lol? Your former ball coach was just named a defendant in his former coaches hacking case where he preyed on young women and violated their privacy rights. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/chargers-coach-jim-harbaugh-michigan-officials-named-in-lawsuit-tied-to-matt-weiss-hacking-case/ Michigan has much more to worry about than something a recruit said in high school over 4 years ago.
  21. Fairly decent chance Curry walks out of Columbus with two national titles while Michigan is marred in scandal. Michigan is up to what, 9 coaches now implicated by the NCAA....with three already receiving multi-year show-cause bans?
  22. lol ok? I despise both programs equally if that makes you feel any better. My rooting interest in The Game is strictly monetary. Ohio State has won me a ton of money in this setting dating back nearly 15 years. Can't win them all unfortunately.
  23. Not sure why I'm lumped in with Ohio State fans lol? But anyways.....
  24. Again, he played behind the #1 recruit in the country who was first team All-B10 in 3 consecutive seasons. Regress doesn’t mean what you think it means in this scenario.
