Chatard played very fundamentally sound football last night. Sounds like they played better than the first two games. Carter St. John is very quick and shifty in the open field. Kid can make a lot of plays. Chatard looks so small on both sides of the ball. Can be pushed around somewhat. Roncalli did better when they ran straight at them instead of going sideline to sideline.

Have heard a lot of kids graduating early and skipping spring semester. I am fine with that, but I think kids are getting some bad advice on skipping whole senior season. Especially to play at Rutgers. Why is the endgame of all of this? If he is going to Rutgers he is probably not going to the NFL.

It will be interesting to see if the move to the SIAC will result in more post season success. Since the state title season, Jasper has only won 4 sectionals.

Chatard is playing very well tonight. Tackling, passing game, all the little things. There were times during the game that Roncalli is just able to physically push them around and that is the difference.

The Semistate last year was terrible. (Roncalli vs Mooresville) announcers were not there and kept freezing

I have watched parts of both Mooresville's games, both of Jasper's games, one of Memorial's games (all this season) and saw a good portion of the North half the bracket last year. To answer your question, I don't think I saw a defense that could keep out of a running clock situation with Warren Central. Mooresville has some nice talent on offense, but Roncalli ran over them last year like they were not even there and I think this year Mooreville will be smaller than last year. They also gave up some big plays to Danville. Jasper has given up some big plays to EM and Harrison and they still seem to put the ball on the ground a lot. Maybe due to their option game?? Though they throw the ball better this year. Looking forward to Sectional 22 Championship preview on Friday.

WL is stealing a first place vote, that person could have GS at 2 and BJ at 3. Some probably have WL at 2 and Brebeuf at 3 in their polls. Probably no one has GS lower than 2 in if they have Brebeuf at 1. Only 5 points in the voting systems comes pretty easily from that,

My reason for my original posting was not to shut down the program and fire the coach. I think the run they put together from 2013-2019 may be one of the best ever. They lost to Mt Vernon last year after not having a game within 4 TDs for 5 years straight and are 0-2 this season. Just something to talk about.

Have we received a straight answer from the IHSAA what will happen after this year? Entirely possible that they do not know yet. I was under the impression that after this season the would settle all of the classes by enrollment. I have not seen anything about how success factor would be handled differently.

Don’t think they can beat Whiteland in sectional this year. Does that send them back to 4A? lost more games in the past two seasons than the first 7 for Coach Ralph.
