A lot of the students come from a legacy background. That's how I went to Cathedral back in 1957, as my brother had graduated a few years before that. I would have been a family outcast if I'd chosen any other school. As far as nowadays, it's really a family decision as tuition is quite expensive for a lot of families. Some go to Cathedral for the excellent academics and some for the successful athletics. As for a district, no Cathedral has no real boundaries. Young people and their families make a decision that Cathedral is the right place for them. And, I might, add, that Cathedral isn't for everyone.
