  1. It's like minor surgery. As long as it's somebody else it's minor, but it's not much fun when it's you! Isolating is the hardest part of it. I'm an active person. Hope to be back in the stands next week.
  2. Oh snap!😒
  3. I'm doing a bit better each day, but I don't want to contaminate that nice facility you have there. I'll be watching a live stream.
  4. It seems like it's always a hard fought battle. That's trite but true. I hope the weather is good, although I won't be attending. I tested positive for COVID yesterday. It's a mild case, so mild the doctor didn't prescribe any meds, only OTC ones. I sure hate to miss this one. Last season the Irish got out to a quick 21-0 lead, only to have the lights go out at Arlington, which probable was a blessing, and the Irish lost a two day affair.
  5. I'm a long time Irish fan, but I hope the Irish win, but don't cover, and Jaron Tibbs has 5+ receptions for a hundred or so!
  6. NO, I meant the Irish were a 28 point favorite against NIU. I have not idea what the line for Purdue is.
  7. Vegas had the Irish a 28 point favorite. The odds are really long to make the playoffs.
  8. Especially you have an outstanding kicker!
  9. I think you nailed it! Both need to be put to rest!
  10. Moore didn't lose to a directional school. Michigan lost to a legitimate top team.
  11. Dangerfield had an outstanding game, but he didn't get many downs off. It's best to have multiple running backs. Owen Peterson also had an outstanding game. I don't question the FG. The defense should be able to hold 'em for 1:17. Another one of the crazy kickoffs went OOB and gave St. X another 15 yards. What's up with the kickoffs?
  12. Yeah, it's pretty easy when the defense is giving you a 10+ yard cushion. He took advantage well as to what the Irish showed him though. Also the game may have worked out to the Irish advantage if they hadn't been down t one running back. I don't think the Bombers could have handled Bonds, but we'll never know.
  13. IMO, Riley Leonard is not a very good choice at QB. I didn't understand why Marcus didn't make a change, when it was apparent he wasn't getting the job done. There are other options at the position. It was a well deserved loss! I loved the emotion of the NIU coach after the game. They'll never forget this game! I see no way to the playoffs now for the Irish. You can't lose to a directional school at home and deserve a spot.
  14. Not much defense in this one. The Irish kicked a field goal with 1:17 left to take a 31-28 lead, only to have St. X drive the field and score a TD with 14 seconds left. We Irish fans have seen that before, many time throughout the years. Cathedral's last win at St. X came in 2000. It was a fun game to watch, unless you prefer a defensive battle.
  15. I actually saw a NHL game in that stadium. Flyers vs. Lightning in 1993. Flyers won in OT, BTW.
  16. BC 28, FSU 13, final. BC took a knee on the FSU 8 yard line at the end.
  17. Boston College is up 28-13 over Florida State, with 2 minutes left! It doesn't look good for the 'Noles making the playoffs.
  18. It was all good! Nice young fellow too!
  19. He was the best 5 tool player I ever saw, and I'm old, real old!
  20. Yeah, A&M ain't an easy place to play and most of the "experts" on Game Day picked the Aggies.
  21. Tonight might be the first time I've ever pulled for USC. I don't mine that Brian Kelly is gone from Notre Dame, I just didn't like the way he did it. It's mighty strange rootin' for the Trojans.
  22. Irish win!
  23. I wish the Irish had chosen to play a lesser team than Texas A&M in the opener. It's been a tussle. Irish up 20-13 with 1:54 left. A&M with the ball deep in their own territory.
  24. Brownsburg 30, Cathedral 14. Brownsburg is good! They took advantage of all Cathedral's weaknesses.
