  1. I haven't had a drink in 21 years, but before that, yeah, I had my moments.😉
  2. In John Harrell's predictions, this game is listed to be played at Arlington. This game will be played at Arsenal Technical High School.
  3. Someone has to input information to the computer, so it's not infallible. I enjoy reading the rankings, but I don't take them too seriously, especially this time of the year.
  4. Besides Georgia, it's a toss up. IMO, the Irish aren't playoff worthy this season.
  5. I've been there, done that!
  6. All ratings systems are fun to look at and try to digest. And they are fine for starting a conversation.
  7. Coan is just not mobile! He's a statue at times, critical times. He does seem more like a game manager. There are two QB's on the sideline with more athletic ability and eventually more upside. The future looks good! That was the best defensive effort against the Navy in the years I've watched the series. it was stifling.
  8. It' hard to believe KC has regressed as far as they have. They were almost unbeatable two years ago.
  9. After yesterday the Irish may be a top 10 ten, but that's not saying much this season. I don't believe they're a playoff team by any means, but I still hope they can win out and get a nice warm bowl game somewhere nice. Again, yesterday proves that anyone can win on a given day. That's why they play the games. And Georgia seems to be the only legitimate contender thus far this year. Not sure 'Bama could handle them the way they're playing now. As we've seen though, that could change quickly.
  10. Spoilermakers 40, #3 Michigan State 29. Lee Corso is probably having another shot of Metamucil because he predicted this.
  11. Purdue 37, Michigan State (#3) 27. There is still 5 minutes left in this game however.
  12. I hope all stayed tune for the dual alma maters. That's what this series is all about, genuine respect.
  13. Honestly, there's no need for Sagarin once the playoffs begin. On the field is the rating system now.
  14. A couple of other plays that come to my old mind. I could not believe that 6'5" 260lb. DE Kendrick Gilbert made a tackle 10+ yards downfield. I can see why he's getting many D1 offers. I'm also glad that he's only a junior and will be back to anchor the defense next year. It seemed strange that the Irish scored no points on the four turnovers I don't know if that has ever happened but if it did it's been awhile. The DC defense was outstanding, in the first half, after the Irish took the opening kickoff down the field for a score.
  15. I'm sure Coach Peebs just looks at this game as another bump in the road. BTW, it will be played at Tech.
  16. Just another opponent in the way of moving on. No other motive needed.
  17. Johnathan Taylor is one of the best draft picks ever for the Colts. He's a big time talent! Michael Pittman is also coming along as a big time receiver. And Carson Wentz played well, and didn't throw the ball to the other team.
  18. It was only 7-0 at the half, and to be honest Decatur Central outplayed the Irish by a wide margin. It was a different story in the 2nd half as the Irish wore down the Hawks and pulled away to a 31-7 win. Mr. Javon Tracy is the real deal. He never left the field. He QB's, he RB's and he plays defense and runs back kicks. He's just an outstanding football player! But even he slowed down in the 2nd half. Hats off to the Decatur Central Hawks for a well played game. Numbers did them in. Bryce Llewellyn had the hat trick in the first quarter, three interceptions. Seth Mencer ran for more than 100 yards. It should help the Irish moving forward to be contested as they were tonight. Now onto New Pal at Tech next week for the Irish.
  19. Oh their defense never defended until the Colts thought the game was over, late 3rd quarter up 42-10.
  20. Well, for one thing, they don't have to play their #3 QB too often. Frank did pull the plug late again tonight. Evidently Frank has a personal mercy rule.😏
  21. I will, but I don't worry so much about the cold, it's the rain and snow that bothers me more. And tonight, for a change, will be DRY!
  22. Colts up 42-16 on the Jets, 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. I don't think even Frank can mess this one up.
