    Frost's firing was long overdue. Talk about a coach not belonging in P5 football!

    The Irish have passed out of the top 25 in the coach's poll for the first time since 2017. I'm still on the bus with Freeman. It's too early to get that crazy, but yesterday was as ugly as I've seen any Irish team play at home, especially against a 20 point underdog.

    It seems the IU QB has trouble with the wet football, but not so with the Idaho QB.

    Marcus Freeman is the first Notre Dame coach ever to start 0-3. The first two loses were to top 10 teams but today was a major disappointment.

    The Sycamores had a tough day against Purdue today.

    IU seems to be suffering from cupcakeitis tonight also, trailing 10-0 at halftime against Idaho.

    This was an embarrassing loss, especially in ND Stadium. It looked like Pyne wasn't the answer either, but I give him the benefit of the doubt coming off the bench at the end of the game. The O line was pitiful. I don't know if they can get it back in one week. I guess we'll have to see. Looks like a possible Weed Eater Bowl for the Irish this year.

    I hate to admit it, but Paul Finebaum was right. This is not a championship contending Notre Dame team.

    Notre Dame looks like a +100 team today. If they gave this effort last week, tOSU would have beat 'em by 50. Freeman's got a lot of work to do to get his team back after this performance!

    This is the most disgraceful Notre Dame performance I've ever witnessed, and I've seen a few in my 79 years! I cannot believe they went into a prevent with more than 9 minutes left. The safeties were almost on US 31 during the beginning of that drive.

    Sometimes you just have to bring in a relief pitcher, when the starter can't get anyone out.

    After the off week, we do play at Hammond Morton, and I've been advised by some knowledgeable folks to not waste my money driving to Hammond for that one. It will be the first Irish game I've missed, by my own will, in quite a while. I can't believe I'll have two consecutive Fridays at home during football season! My wife will not like this!

    Yeah, the defense is OK, but the offense is stagnant. I hope this gets taken care of at halftime. I hope this is just a temporary letdown from last week.

    I agree! There are more receivers on the field besides #87 too! Give Pyne the 2nd half start. It can't be much worse. I kind of hope this turns out to be like the Cathedral/Penn game when the Irish came alive in the 2nd half, but I'm kind of worried about this one.

    Not a good performance from the Irish today. Maybe a letdown from last week. Buchner looks really bad. It looks like they'll be behind Marshall at halftime.

    I've seen a lot of Cathedral QB's in my time, dating back to the mid 1950's, and Danny may be the best of 'em! He's an exceptional talent! He's become better about seeing the field and picking out open receivers this season. And it helps that he has a lot of big and talented receivers. I do wish the Irish would stop changing players numbers. It's hard on an old fan like me to keep up.☺️

    I've also been told that many schools will not play the Irish at Arlington. For some it's the grass field, and for others it's the neighborhood. The field should not be of any concern because Turf Dogs do an outstanding job of keeping the field in great shape. The rain prior to the Center Grove game last season was the exception, and there's nothing that can be done about that much rain.

    I would think there will be a scrimmage Friday night to keep the routine. I think it's a shame that the Irish couldn't find an opponent. Maybe teams just don't want to play at Arlington. I don't have the answer for sure. After watching the replay last night, it was good to see the Irish play a total game. They were good on both sides of the ball, and there's still room for improvement.

    Cathedral 38, Bishop Chatard 0, final The Irish had a 35-0 lead at halftime and the mercy rule kicked in for a very quick 2nd half. Good luck to the Trojans the rest of the season. Hot Dog!

    The Irish played well and Coach Peebs got a chance to play a lot of players. The Irish are off next week. They couldn't find a game for week 5.
