  2. They were not competitive in the HNAC so fled back to the relatively lower competition of the MWC. 2012 MWC 10-2 2013 MWC 8-4 2014 MWC 6-4 2015 HNAC 1-9 2016 HNAC 1-9 2017 HNAC 0-10 2018 MWC 4-6 2019 MWC 3-6
  3. I wonder, with the emphasis on individual drink containers, if the IHSAA looks at having built in hydration timeouts during games especially early on in the heat.
  4. My Preseason Rankings 1. Pioneer 2. Laville 3. Knox 4. Judson 5. Winamac 6. Culver 7. Triton 8. Caston
  5. Pioneer played here in a monsoon of a 1A semistate game in 2016. It had the best playing surface we played on all year. Compared to our dirt field we get to play on for every home game their field was immaculate.
  6. Class 1A-3A would not be able to field those numbers....
  7. Get rid of the non-contact days at the beginning of the actual practice season. I hate going from limited contact in shoulder pads and helmets in your competition days during the summer to helmets only to start the season.
  8. Pioneer is looking for a week 5 Varsity opponent for the 2021 season. If interested please reach out to head coach Adam Berry at berrya@pioneer.k12.in.us
  9. Bigger factor is probably having 2 different head coaches in 2 years due to some questionable administration choices. This is not the thread or place to argue this topic (has been done repeatedly elsewhere). My prediction is Coach Nay and the Knights get it done. Past experience has no bearing on it in my opinion, with these kids being in Jr. High the last time they were there. I think the knights coaching and their ability to make adjustments on the fly will lead them to another blue ring.

  16. I didn’t understand the run call on 4th down for winamac with a little over 4 minutes to go. If you’re going for it that deep on your end and you need 8, why not pass? Kudos to Judson.

  18. We got throttled by a more physically dominant team. No more no less. They wanted it more and took it. Eurit is a great player, but if you ask me the most important player on Cass is #30 Humphrey. We couldn’t block him at LB and he was dominant as a blocker at TE. He was a man among boys last night. Full credit to Cass and hopefully it opened some eyes for us of what it will take to be successful next year.
  19. LC athletic booster will be doing a $5 Pork burger dinner (sandwich chips and drink i believe).
  20. Injuries were not why we lost... Cass's execution when it mattered and Pioneer not making the needed adjustments early enough were the issue.
