  1. Heard they just installed these. Even called the Patriots for their filming for dummy's book.
  2. Question is, did you do this 3 times when you typed that out?
  3. What makes you think with his resume he couldn't get a job in the NFL? There are position coaches in both the NFL and College whose resume pails in comparison to Kevin Wrights. Just keep in mind it was stated a job from NFL down to HS, that doesn't mean Head Coach though.
  4. They had these too CCTV of @Lysander crossfit workout out
  5. I know. I was just being facetious towards the contraction bologna tossed around here.
  6. I could see that. He will continue to get stronger and faster as he continues to mature and work in the weight room with the Toledo program.
  7. I. An name several teams that have beaten teams like Cathedral that were public schools. Including: Columbus East, Plainfield, Evansville Reitz, Jasper, Zionsville among others. As someone who is unbiased some of the advantages are perceived advantages. I can tell you first hand a youth league (like Center Grive and New Palestine) can be a huge advantage compared to what some P/P have. When you can have players running their system that long it becomes second nature when they get to HS. I could go more in depth. For the record my son attended a public school.
  8. Possibly the travel had a little bit of an effect for some of the players being off. 3 and a half hour drive (roughly) for a Friday night game. We see that sometimes when teams choose to make long travel on Friday nights here too. They also may not have fully expected the fight they were going to get from East who can be physical. Pick Central was very talented, they were when I watched them in 2017. The best talented teams I have seen were a couple of St. Edwards teams. In 2006 I made my way to the Herbstreit challenge one Saturday at Nippert University of Cincy. I watched 4 games that day in 2 different sessions. Byrnes (South Carolina) vs Moeller (Cincy) Lakeland (Florida) vs St. Xavier (Cincy) Don Bosco Prep (New Jersey) vs Centerville (OH) De La Salle (California) vs Elder (Cincy) Some great games that day. The Lakeland team though HOLY COW I had never watched a team so talented prior or since. Featured Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, Chris Rainey, Ahmad Black, Jamar Taylor, among others. St. X was pretty stout too. Lakeland ended up winning 25-22 in OT.
  9. Agree 100% Columbus East would have been in the Semi-State instead of Bloomington South. New Pal was an team that nobody was going to beat. Would have been a heck of a road to the finals for New Pal though. Whiteland, Franklin Cathedral, Columbus East, Valparaiso.
  10. This has been discussed ad nauseam in a prior thread. Spegal was/is fully eligible to play with no doubts.
  11. Their 2nd Title in 3 years. Their QB has had a a great career for the Tigers. Watched him play as a Soph against Cathedral in 2017. The game last night was a good one. The Tigers were down 14-7 after 3 qtrs and threw 2 TD's in the 4th to win 21-14. Cathedral played at Elder this year (was an OT game Elder won 38-31) and Pickerington Central played at Columbus East (20-14 Pick Central won)

  13. Don't know the answer to your questions. I will say most coaches in High School football know you have to have talented and disciplined pleys, and you have to have a little luck on your side too. Every team that wins a State Championship puts those 3 things together. Be it luck of getting a home game at the right time or really anything else. Looking back at the playoff run by Evansville Memorial this year, I think their toughest game was likely their game against Mooresville. Memorial took full advantage of 2 early turnovers in the game to jump up 14-0 and forced Mooresville to play from a hole. Credit to the Tigers for making plays and taking advantage of the opposing teams mistakes, and that is what good football teams do. Congrats Memorial!
  14. Senior year stats alone: Games Played -14 Carries - 330 Yards - 3,168 YPC - 9.6 YPG - 226.3 Rushing TD's - 55 Only 3 fumbles all year (lost 1) that is 1 turnover in 330 carries. he only has 5 total turnovers career in 1,331 carries! Amazing!
  15. Actually is a good list. That being said: Mike Gillin - Mooresville, I feel this may be his last stop. Coaching where he lives seems to be content there and has totally turned the program around. The more I look at it Shane Fry would be a great hire as would Pat Shanley and Kyle Ralph. This could be a terrific job for Dave Sharpe. I know when he resigned from LaPorte to move to Indianapolis for their foundation in their sons memory. He stated Football is in his blood as much as teaching and he'll persue both once he is established in Indianapolis. Fishers would be a great landing spot for Sharpe and Fishers would get a terrific Coach to boot.
