  1. It will definitely stand for awhile. It will take a RB starting as a Freshman and starting all 4 years to even attempt to break them. Not only that but they have to average great numbers each year.
  2. I hope that wasn’t directed towards me as I have no dissent. I also vehemently am against the supposed contraction to 289 like @crimsonace1. I posted that Shelbyville completed their season (because it had been stated they shut it all down) with their schedule that had scores. I was asked a goofy question what weaknesses they found to score a TD in Orndleton heights the last two games. I sarcastically responded they ran the same okay week 1 (only other game they scored in) and found that it still worked. wasnt being mean towards Shelbyville just found it a shall I say goofy question so I came up with a just as goofy answer. BTW @Gipper what is the best seasoning for coaches? lol Cajun ?
  3. I'm not mean. I just answered a silly question with a silly answer.
  4. I have wondered the same thing. Boy has that area grown from Hamilton Southeastern being a 3A school back in 1993 to now having 2 large 6A High Schools in Fishers an Hamilton Southeastern.
  5. Very true he has a pretty good situation where he is right now. You're last sentence isn't always looked at some as a bad situation though. Some coaches will look at it as a challenge. I think a proper question would be is he content staying where he is for obvious reasons (wife's hometown, great fan support, great administrative support, a great football culture) or does he want to step to another challenge. I don't know the answer to that question and I would think the only ones that truly know the answer to that question would be Coach Ralph and his family. I don't think anyone could fault the man for choosing either way.
  6. A couple of coaches I think could be a good hire (no idea if there is interest or not). I just think they have done fantastic at their current school. Craig Chambers - Marion Curt Funk - Mississinewa
  7. They ran the same play they ran in week 1 and found it still worked.
  8. Yes it is and they should have Mooresville week 4 or 5.
  9. So is New pal playing Decatur Central week 1 and CG playing them week 2?
  10. Doesn't Penn and Cathedral play next year? Or is it the following year. Thought I saw posted on here a tweet from Penn.
  11. Because they had to for Lawrence Central Missouri State was not renewing any contracts with any High Schools for trademark agreements for their logo (the Bear logo). Lawrence North was doing the same with Kansas State Logo. So they decided to create new logo's for both schools. They over the next couple of years will be replacing the logos throughout the 2 schools with their new Logo's which they have trademarked.
  12. I believe Cathedral did 2012 won 4A title beating Mishawaka. Bumped to 5A 2013 and beat Westfield for State Title. I will have to look and see about any others
  13. I personally don't see Coach Ralph leaving New Pal any time soon for many reasons stated: wife's hometown, football crazed town, community support, administration support, facilities, growing community. That being said I feel if any school would be the one to lure him away it would be when Steve Specht retires or leaves Cincinnati St. Xavier. I would think they (St. X) would definitely be interested in Coach Ralph because he is a graduate, former assistant coach, and has had great success as a Head Coach. I think Coach Ralph could (will not say would) be interested because it is his Alma Mater (He is a member of the Long Blue Line) and for many reasons he is at New Pal: Football community facilities, etc. That however could be down the line quite a bit. I have always felt Coach Ralph is very comfortable where he is at for now.
  14. See my posts about Valpo and Center Grove rosters (100+). Not trying to be mean or arrogant. I only listed what was in the state finals program for roster and IHSAA for enrollment and classification. I was not discriminating any team.
  15. I agree but the IHSAA can’t look at just the titles Cathedral, Chatard, LCC, or Memorial wins. They also have to look at Park Tudor, Bishop Noll, Providence, Oldenburg, etc a bump would also involve them. I have been around the GID about as long as you say you have been around Hs football in Indiana. Been around Indiana HS football for about 28 years. The SF has been very good just wish it were as the IFCA proposed at 4 years instead of 2
  16. I provided a link to the roster that was in the IHSAA program had Chatard at 77 players ( you can check for yourself) The IHSAA has them listed at 700 students in the enrichment and classification.
  17. I will say after many years of observing HS sports...there are far more that transfer from Private to Public (for a multitude of reasons) than Public to private. It’s hit or miss on what the IHSAA rules as far as eligibility. Honestly it’s like playing at a craps table. Just being honest!
  18. Amen!!! I know 1 in particular that played as a Freshman in another state transfers to a private school in this state for 1 year. Then transfers to a public school his 3rd year and then again transfers to another public school his SR year. Crazy and makes no sense! @Olympian06 I’m sure has the same feeling as me. It shows a lot of what is going on. Doesn’t really help the child/player either. To each his own I guess!
  19. I will try my best to explain. A student from a Lawrence township middle school (8th grade) enrolling at Bishop Chatard as a Freshman and playing four years is not the same as a student that is a Soohomore at Lawrence North and exudes to enroll at Bishop Chatard. However a student at say West Lafayette who has parents that move to Indianapolis in the Broad Ripole Area and transfer that student to Bishop Chatard will be treated differently than a student that transfers from Lawrence North to Bishop Chatard. not sure if that helps and it is all hypothetical.
  20. I don’t disagree with your last statement at all. That’s why I say it goes more in depth. Schools like I mentioned have the same abilities to control enrollment just don’t have the mass populations like Cathedral or Chatard (with the exception of Park Tudor). A bump up doesn’t just affect the power teams it affects some who have had little to no success. all in love Captain hopefully you know by now my absolute respect and that won’t change in my eyes if we slightly disagree. Maxes is still a stud! Hah! bTW I like the success factor. I do feel however it should be utilized like the IFCA originally proposed every 4 years not 2 years.
