Some of these already exist and some are my thoughts of what Conferences should look like from Central to Southern Indiana.

I do like it!  This would alleviate a lot of logistical headaches....

Why would Providence be in the HHC and not Brownstown, Madison, or Scottsburg?

Great exercise though

Also--- Central, Bosse, Harrison, and I believe Vincennes all have more students than Ev Memorial

Providence used to play Floyd and New Albany and would still compete against those teams. Non-football would have no problem holding their own in that conference.

You could cut the HHC down to 5 and make providence an independent but the goal of this exercise was to find everyone a home and to allow for more interconference matchups.

The Big 10 also has more than 10 😆

That's the 1.5 I give to Private schools.

However, as all folks who are impartial know....slotting privates based on enrollment alone doesn't make much if any sense.

It was stated "Southern Big" vs. "Southern Small"-- so I didn't understand why 4 schools bigger than Memorial were in the small. So that's what wouldn't make sense to me.

Same with Providence.

I also don't care, and I'm bored. Rather than stating "oh wow, great job"--- I preferred to discuss it more.

I'm surprised the Southwest conference is still holding. Haha

North Knox has tried to join a couple of other conferences...but, it didn't work for those conferences i guess...they both voted it down...lol

Dugger and Wood Memorial. Two schools who don’t play 11 man football anymore were in the SW7.

I believe in their history, North Knox has been in and out of several conferences. I would guess that conferences would be a little gun-shy given their history.

First off my dumb mobile using self just realized I could scroll right and see more. Haha. So here are my thoughts and scenarios regarding MSC/PLAC

1) Will Perry Central ever go to the Pocket? Seems like closer for them and would be fine in small school side. I feel like if they did PLAC could maybe add some of the Southwest schools. Eastern Greene, North Daviess, North Knox all currently play PLAC. If they allowed Crawford to go independent (like they tried a few years prior) the drives wouldn't be much different they are already making.

2) Do Silver Creek and/or Charlestown ever outgrow the MSC? Charlestown recently moved to 4A while Salem and Brownstown recently dropped from 3 to 2. Feels like that conference at times is getting really spread out.

3) Could Clarksville join PLAC? They play WW, Perry, and Crawford. Not sure they really add much but being a former MSC team they fit in nicely.

All of this is just strictly football talk. Our conferences haven't changed in like 30 years outside teams adding football. Just all in fun.

not really...the same teams...we just changed names when a team left or joined...that shouldn't be the case...you were wrong about that!

Don't be surprised if the NCC looks like this in a couple years

Anderson                Marion

Muncie Central       Richmond

New Castle             Delta

Yorktown                 Jay Co.

It really won't be the NCC without Kokomo in it.  The Wildkats are the heart and soul of that conference, bar none.

Brownstown was 2A the majority of existence.

All schools are within 400 students, basically.  I don't see it happening.
