How in the world is Bosse -45? Give me Central with the points.

The lone exception is Reitz -3.

From my friends up north who were at the VL game, Bosse just might be the bottom dweller this season. I didn’t see Central or Harrison last night (went to Castle vs North), but from my understanding, it’s going to be hard to be worse than the Bulldogs.

Losing Wagner from last year is devastating for Bosse, he was electrifying to watch and allowed Bosse more ball movement. No idea how their new QB did, I do know he switched from being linebacker for most of career.

Central/Bosse could be a good game.   This game may tell us who will go 0-10.  Who knows who wins. 

Harrison/Jasper. Jasper has to come back with a better showing this week.  Right? Jasper wins by 2-3 scores.  
 

Castle/MD. Surely MD has a better performance than last year’s blowout loss to Castle.   They looked like they ran the ball well last week.  Castle by 3 scores. 
 

Reitz/Vincennes.  Vincennes did better last week than most expected.   Reitz by 3 scores. 
 

Memorial/North.  Is North defense legit?  Memorial is too much.  Wins by 2 scores.

I think some of these spreads are crazy large  

Bosse wins but by like 14  

I dunno how jasper is a 38 point favorite after what we saw Friday. Jasper by 14.

Give me VL at home in the upset

Bosse

I have not heard anything yet, but with the oppressive heat forecasted for this week, I suspect we might see JV, frosh and MS games get canceled and the start times for Friday pushed back. Ironically, the exact same thing happened last year in Wk. 2.

Yea, it looks like the heat index on Friday is going to average around 100 degrees for most of the day

Should be another good week for the away teams. Hopefully the heat does not affect the games too much.

Central at Bosse - Big game for these two teams. I think Bosse will go winless this year and this might be Central's only win of the season. The Bears win by one score in an absolute nailbiter.

Harrison at Jasper - I think Jasper will bounce back in this one. Harrison has some athletes and has shown they can score a bit, but don't think they will be able to stop the Jasper rushing attack after seeing how Reitz ran the ball on them. Jasper by two scores.

Castle at Mater Dei - MD looked good in week 1 but maybe it's just that Central is bad? We will find out. Huge test for MD. I think the Knights win by two scores.

Reitz at Vincennes - Tough call here on the spread. I think Reitz is the much better team but it's never easy playing at VL. And I think Reitz is still missing a few key players. I could see the Alices hanging around for a half but Reitz wins by three scores.

Memorial at North - The Husky defense has a chance to prove they are legit in this one against a very stout Tigers team. I think they keep it a one score game for a while but Memorial pulls away late to win by three scores.

Well, I guess I was wrong about the impact of the heat this week. Our JV played at Jasper last night and coach said he thinks the game at North will be played at the regular time Friday...

I wonder if the junior high games will be played on Thursday, since their start times are earlier and it's supposed to be the hottest day of the week. I do think Friday games, although still hot, will be good to go at scheduled times.

I suspect there is less willingness to adjust start times when dealing with 7th & 8th graders.

So far, all levels for the Memorial games are on time, I haven’t seen anything change yet.

Sure would be nice to have start times of 7:00. You know like the rest of the State does. I hate that our conference does 6:30 start times for teams both in Evansville.
