Guilty. No excuse for that mistake. Every single week in my Observation Report, I tell the officials this isn’t basketball and they should not have the whistle in their mouths while the ball is alive. And it generally falls on deaf ears. This was a good example of why that mechanic is right in the Manual.

Sorry for the hiatus. I’m actually supposed to be working this game. Heading down to the officials’ locker room for the postgame debrief. But my last thought on this game is that watching HH’s offensive line play is a real pleasure.
