You get very defensive, very quickly when it comes to your Bears Coach.

My point its was ONE game....against an opponent that is ranked among the bottom when it comes to both total and passing defense.  That is not diminishing anyone...just simplying pointing out facts.  As i will say for the 3rd time, let's see how it all washes out at the end of the season.  Glad Loveland had a good game.  I have nothing against the young man.  BUT WILL SAY IT AGAIN, GLAD THE BEARS PASSED ON WARREN.  Sorry, but not sorry if that is upsetting to you.

Message board is ment for conversation is it not ?

When folks come at my team that I invest time in to educate the uneducated......such as the vitrol towards players like CW18, GM Poles , TE Loveland I choose to show facts that say opposite of folks opinions.

You've done the same with CG because you've put a personal investment to them just like I have with Chicago.    So when colts fans act like Warren was the clear choice and bears were wrong I'm just here to say .. not so fasty friends (Corso Voice ).

Nothing has upset me ,  no upset font.  No upset emoji.

Keep working hard Warren. You may get slimed soon too.

And my point too is the the best games at the tight end at the Indianapolis Colts has had has been against teams. Also ranked in the bottom half on passing defense against the position that is known as tight end.

When someone constantly rehashes a two year old story while their favorite program is in the midst of its best era in program history, they deserve every bit of criticism coming their way.

if I held your views credible, the criticism may have an impact....but I think I have been extremely clear in how I hold your views....

The NCAA's release was August 2025.....not 2 years ago.  But I understand how you want it to go away.

I feel ya Coach....and I appreciate the passion.  Just want to restate, I want Loveland to succeed....nothing absolutely negative intended.  While a Colts fan, grew up watching the Bears.  Want them to do well...glad they are improving and its obvious.  I have commented about this recently.  Fair enough on your comments about Warren.  Its a long season and its just the halfway point.

Bad takes and unhealthy obsessions never have an expiration date.

@Coach Nowlin is one of the nicest dudes on here and seems to be wearing thin of you...might be saying something.

Not in a least bit

I mean I think I'm very nice guy that I don't disagree with

But definitely not wearing thin of any of you guys

When we're in this forum here talking collagen professional sports and other things

I put myself at the local yocal with you folks with frothy beverages and friendly sport banter

That's how I put my mind into these conversations

I try to take a emotion and tone completely out of all words I see.  Unless it's clear intent

This line says it all.

Sounds good to me:

Now, can we all agree that CW18 and his finger painted nails and him hugging his mother after a game in college  have had ZERO impact on :

1.  His leadership

2. His Progress

3.  His ability to perform

4. Doing his part in Winning Games in the National Football League

Seems like a pretty close knit and professional locker room to me !!!

It would seem he is doing pretty darn well.  Perhaps a combination of development, good mentorship around him on the team, new coaching staff, overall maturity that occurs quickly at his age for most.  Hope he continues his development.

I bet Coach and I are doing just fine.  Thanks for your concern.

I hope you can get over your unhealthy obsessions and let it go.  Bad takes...they won't stop coming from you I am afraid.

Never said ALL of your takes are bad.  I think you do some good stuff on the HS forum.  I do hope you keep your polling/ranking work up.  But man, you can go to extremes on GID.

Dude, your ego needs stroked.....I suggest seeking that elsewhere.

No...I said actually playing the game gives one additional insights vs those who haven't.  Nothing said about being "smarter"...those are your words.  That can pretty much be said about anything in life...those who have done have much more of a practical vs a theoritical view.

I wasn't providing that perspective to "folks"....I provided that perspective to you, and you alone. And only you repeatedly when you kept bringing it back up like a broken record.

You really took that to heart, didn't you??  Causing you some pain.  As I said before, "let it go"......you're going to be just fine.

I have stated on this forum many times, and I am VERY patient with coaching, but NFL for sure, COACHING MATTERS, and last year when it was all said and done in Chicago, it was amateur hour and GM POLES was handcuffed by previous upper echelon leadership decisions, when Poles and Warren were finally able to convince George and ultimately Virginia to cut bait and deal with it , and then PAY the top guy on the market which should shore up the that spot for the next 2 decades plus ( he is my dream MIKE TOMLIN coach, aka BEN JOHNSON)     Then you see the talent come through.

Coach Johnson came in and just flat out busted CW18 from jump street, if you caught any of the early early stuff out of camp back in the spring time, CW18 would say that he really thought for minute Coach Johnson just had it out for him but they both understood that things had to change ASAP, starting with Mechanics ..... Accountability to those mechanics.

So much talent, he will continue to take to hard coaching and accountability and return the game will slow down for him sooner rather than later, at least that is my hope

Yay, another wunderkind offensive coordinator as head coach.  Like Matt Nagy.

I think you have underestimated Coach Ben Johnson desire to play physical football and not be just a gadget guy

No kidding

I have been talking about this for 10 months plus,  this was the year, the bandaid stop gaps he tried didn't work out for various reasons,  Bates, Davis, Shelton

They have 4 picks in the top 72

around 70 million in cap space

SOunds like Coach Johnson is bringing OL coach from Lions with him, that is exciting (can they sneak Sewell in a suitcase out of Detroit? )

the OL will be addressed heavily so will the DL and LB corp imo

Insertion of the Rookie at LT and investment in the interior has made great gains overall, now just stay healthy

My order of importance off season/ Wish List

Hope for Bears to be able to pounce on Trey Smith who SHOULD be a FA this cycle and with Chicago having 66 million in cap space this makes WAY too much sense both financially and NEED.   That takes 1 of the OL needs.

#2.  Cut Edmonds.......no where did the Bears get the Bills player who went to 2 probowls.....save cap money cutting him

#3.  Sign Ronnie Stanley if he somehow gets out of clutches of Baltimore, big up grade at LT there.

#4:    Take Best OT available at 10, with 1 condition, Carter from Penn St. is off the board......if he is there at 10, that is the pick, LSU Campbell from some scouts say he is more of an NFL Guard.    Sign Smith , draft Campbell, there is your 2 OG.   If you can pull off Smith and Taylor wow, that will be a tough task

#5.  Take a swing at Josh Sweat if Eagles let him walk as edge rusher

#6. Sign Nick Bolton to replace Edmonds at LB

Draft 4 players in the first 72 picks to be:  3 Lineman, either side of ball, depends on FA, if the breakdown is 2 DL or 2 OL.   Then with one of the picks, best playmaker available

Agree 1000% on cutting Edmonds. He is not worth the money! Sounds crazy , but I wouldn't mind seeing what they could get in return for Jaylon Johnson. He got his way by getting Flus fired and basically quit at the end of the year. I can't respect that.

I was wrong on cutting Edmonds, under DennisAllen Scheme he has been a productive LB, coaching and systems matter and now he is playing to his strengths  it seems so far.

Fun Home Opener to attend, sadly been part of that show many times and the same slow walk to the common folk of 31 st lot.....

GOOD NEWS, unlike the rediculous amount of FART noises on X with 10000 online football coaches who think they understand what Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams was supposed to do every snap and every play, I will continue to sit back patiently and watch it all unfold.

Zero Worries here.   9-11 wins is what I believe is in order

6-3

Still Zero Worries here

Oh I am sure there will be some flat to curl zone drops with how much DC Allen is using Nickel blitzes last few weeks, he can handle it!!!
