Successful Head coaches on staff to coach position groups across the board. I know some of the coaching staffs across the State (especially near Indy/ 6A) are loaded with quality coaches but this CP staff is a deep one. 5 former NWI head coaches on staff plus a former DC from the area that has been to a state finals. 3 of those former head coaches are coaching a position and not managing an entire program anymore. The amount of time, effort, energy, and attention those guys can give their specific position group athletes is astronomical compared to how thin they were stretched as head coaches. Was this the first football sectional championship in school history? If not I know its been close to 30 years since. Hopefully they can continue to build on the program they have. Always like to see the TRC having success. Will force the rest of the conference to step up. Iron sharpens iron! Quote

Gotta think with this new transfer rule they will keep growing in enrollment with a lot of kids on the outskirts of Fort Wayne heading their way. From where? and heading all the way down to Monroe? Seriously? And besides, the AC program starts in grade school/PAL.... You honestly believe that kids can come in and miraculously "learn" that system? Edited March 10, 2025 by Yuccaguy Quote

There's not much happening on the south end of Fort Wayne. Massive growth to the north. Massive amount of corn fields to the south. Quote

Summary so far: we're gonna go to the hhc soon and ask to modify the football schedule so we don't have to play Mt V, New Pal (who "finds d1 linemen from Fort wayne every year and got their qb from Ohio last year" direct quote), GC and PH. The enrollment different is too much and too vast. Our enrollment is going down or staying the same and theirs is growing. Participation is down in middle school. 6th graders asking "Why keep playing football if PH and NP beat us by 50 every year?" Flexible scheduling with the big 4 HHC schools based on how strong the individual sports are (ie volleyball). Quote

To be a contender in 6A I think you need at least half your starters back regardless of how many guys you have with D1 potential. Quote

They've talked to Lapel, they want to stay away from teams that don't offer the same sports as them. A baseball player speaks and says "even with maybe our best team ever, we came in third in conference" "it's good that we get prepared with a tough schedule, but my senior year we lost 20 games" student athlete is hitting all the points, he's really pulling for a conference change. He said "are our student athletes getting better or are we getting comfortable with losing?" Quote

Perhaps, and I'd think that would be a MUCH better option than anything in Adams County. The systems that the Adams County schools imply with FB seem to be 'ingrained' any are a model for what they do. BL allows a lot more leeway for what they do with FB athletes within the system that they imply. It ain't a DOUBLE wing, and pass MAYBE.... Quote
