Seeing some Loveland to the Colts mocks picking up steam...please Lord.

I am honestly not debating that Warren is the better player, but I also wonder what Loveland would have been able to do last year had Michigan put a quality QB on the field.

Warren is also two years older so do with that information what you will.

I wouldn’t be upset if the Colts landed Loveland. He’s a stud. How does he grade on blocking?  I truly don’t know. Saw him play at IU. Awesome player.

At Michigan, you don’t see the field unless you can block.

The thing I enjoy most about the draft is the last minute trades and pick swaps, as teams try to go up or down. Shader Sanders appears to be the focus of much of that discussion. He’s a real wild card.

Wow, I guess coming across as an entitled jackwad in interviews wasn’t the best pre-draft strategy after all.

I also think folks are steering clear due to dad (who thinks he is helping his son, but in actuality the opposite is true).

Just a hunch.

Bears did something that previously regimes failed to do last night,  Identify a premier scheme fit to grow the offense.  (unlike Pace who was hood winked by measurables of a guy like KEVIN WHITE for instance) There had been many conversations about Ben Johnson and running the ball and what "12" personell would look like.  This was why Loveland was taken over Warren as Warren is more Kmet, where Loveland is more stretchy if that makes sense.   LOVE THE IDAHO TOUGH, that will play well in Chicago.   VERY HAPPY if they couldn't get BANKS who I still think was ahead of Loveland on Poles board but Saints made a surprise and smart move getting the big OL there.

One thing that has been seen again, the NFL front offices understand how much the need to continue build OL/DL, HAVE TOO.

If Mike Tomnlin who is most equipped to deal with PRIME for those teams who need QB passes in the 1st round that says A LOT.

Bears have #7 and #9 of this round tonight.   SO MANY very productive and talented players available !!!

My wish list:    Safety from South Carolina if there:  Emmanurori and Treyvon Henderson RB OSU,

Edge Rusher question is how much do they believe in BOOKER?  If he stayed at Kansasa he may have been a 1st/2nd round guy according to noise last year.   Some talented guys but Marshall's Green has some baggage so Im good with passing there but BC DE Ezeiruaku was a menace off the edge for the Eagles last year.

Be Happy with Best TACKLE on Board, perhaps ERSEY out of Minnesota?  If Bears snag Henderson at #39, and want this tackle they maybe able to trade down and gain more capital to make that happen.  They are in a great great spot tonight, in my opinion

I think I am more excited to see tonight unfold then last night personally

Would be willing to bet Dart and Milroe both go late Round 1 as well due to inflated QB market. That's all I got!

NICE WORK @TrenchWarfare58    OVer 50% and nailed first 7 !!    Half credit on nailed TE's posistion for Bears and Colts,  right church wrong pew there.

We both would not know that Will Johnson medicals on a knee caused him to drop.   So it goes.  Thanks for participating

Had the Cardinals on a DT, just used the wrong one.   Nolen flew up the clubs boards more than I expected.   Great pick by Cheifs, without Injury Simmons is top 10 pick IMO

Cowboys going IOL 12th overall was a shock to me personally.

I had Dart as 2nd QB taken, appreciate Giants move at end of the 1st to snag him.

Packers picking WR was fun for crowd, my sick mind wanted them trade out to send the fans home sad.

Did you see the custom draft room he built with the word "Legendary" written all over the place? Yikes.

Not too many boys from Idaho…

I listed to his initial interview on ESPN Chicago immediately after getting drafted. His work ethic was brought up and he mentioned growing up in a blue collar part of Idaho littered with ranches. He said where he comes from all everybody does is work hard on their farm and that's all he did before going to Michigan. Love the attitude.

when he met with POLES and talked about his strong hands and all that, Loveland said, "Have you ever had to pull Wire Fence in Idaho?"   There you go.....

Yeah, once Banks was gone I had a feeling the Bears would move on from OT and go DE. I'm perfectly happy with Loveland though. Great work ethic. Great hands. And he's definitely faster than Warren. He'll be a complete mismatch whether lined up at TE or in the Slot with his speed and high catch point. Sounds like a lot of scouts and analysts thought he was TE#1 in the draft. Johnson got the TE he wants in his offense.

That's awesome! I was shuttling my daughter across the state last night and listening to the Draft on ESPN Radio. It was Tannenbaum and 2 other guys on the coverage. All 3 thought Loveland was the best TE in the draft. One of them said Harbaugh would give up his left leg to get him back on his roster. He's likely a perfect fit for Chicago.

Coach,  question for you....if you top brass with the Colts and given their QB situation, would you consider trading up and drafting Sanders???

I am not personally.

You already have a fragile minded AR QB as is, don't think it would help bringing in the circus there with Sanders.

AR is 23 year old pup still and Colts used a very large capital in drafting him 4th, way way too soon to waive white flag at that position, Daniel Jones is 28, many times it takes that long to get it, and change of scenary helps,  see Sam Darnold this past year, Geno Smith previously and others as well over the last 2 decades.   QB position is so poorly managed from MANY MANY NFL front offices and that hends up hurting young talents, so Colts should not fall in that same trap.   That is a very hard pass for me.

Sanders goes to Cleveland I think to open the 2nd round, if they pass again on him I could also see Pete Carroll and Raiders not passing on that talent and let him sit behind Geno for a year or 2, take time, with him which is what MANY of them need coming out.

QB need teams:  Browns, Steelers, Saints (Derek Carr injury very much a big ??? )

Makes sense...just not sold on AR as a NFL QB.  Assuming Cam Ward works out for Tenn, they are now in a conference where everyone has a solid to strong QB
