I think DC has a lot going for them, just don't think #5 in their first year in 6A is realistic. Who knows.

Yikes. Columbus North? DC I can see. they are going to have a D1 weapons at QB and skill positions. Maybe they're Top 5 good if they have depth.

You expecting big things from Memorial and Gibson Southern this year? I don't know what they have coming back. I was really impressed by Memorial last year. Really liked their offense. I couldn't believe Heritage Hills gave them that bad of a beatdown. QB is going to Ole Miss. TE is going to Oklahoma. Heritage Hills vs Reitz at the Bowl would be a great playoff game atmosphere.

The short answer is yes....very early on paper SW Indiana is once again the place to be for small school football.

Memorial loses their All State QB, WR and MLB to graduation. And loses some players to graduation on the OL/DL and a couple of other positions. However, does return a good amount back from what I know. The atmosphere was great last year at Heritage Hills, HH was such a fast and physical team to watch during the championship game. I wished the outcome was different for the Tigers, they were fun to watch all season long.

The 5 and 6A polls I don’t understand. I mean come on Warsaw was state runner up and you drop them out of top 10? Merrillville at 3 I can handle but where is FW north? 
 

 

and 6A why is crown point so low. Feels disrespectful to have them below DC. I don’t think DC stays within 3 TDs of crown point last year

Probably not the order but based on what we know, seems accurate to me.

No dispute….yet. Preseason polls mean little, especially with players transferring. We will have a good gauge where teams stand after 3 weeks of play

You and those FW North Legends....I get what you're saying with warsaw, especially if placing the team that beat them so high while playing up a class.. Maybe wants to give them some hype...maybe its legit and they will hold their own in 6a with all that D1 talent?

Gr8 question. You know DT does his own thing! Imho I don't see tons of coaches and writers putting DC that high...could be wrong though.

18-14 the past three seasons. Waxed Decatur Central in Week 1 last year. Came within a touchdown of Franklin Central and Chatard. Many would claim that CN/DC later in the season would have produced a different result. Not picking on this team at all, just wonder how that resume puts them in the Top Ten in 6A. It's gotta be transfers. Either that or that publication is really struggling. No dog in the fight, let them have their time in the limelight. Love to see representation outside of Indy. Although Columbus is damn near a burb.

It's not like CN is a bad team. Coming within a touchdown of both FC and Chatard says something about them. Seems like it took awhile for DC to heat up last season.
