We are doing this again?  Every damn year.  You even admitted that Carroll's fortunes in the playoff a couple years back was weather related.

Carroll vs BD/DC (especially if the Hawks have a healthy Polson) would be a one possession game either way.

As it relates to the "toilet bowl" statement, I was referring to being the best 1-2 team in the state.  I'd also add Cathedral into that mix while we are at it.

Had to. Couldn't defend Snider without defending HSE. But in all fairness, I wasn't at that game. Carroll's stadium is bleachers, so I'm sure both sides were cold. Spuller is concrete built into a hill................MASSIVE difference. 

Hard for me to argue that honestly, I'm still taking Carroll. Some of the hits they delivered against Center Grove were off the charts. Really looking forward to seeing how good this team can be come playoff time. I don't see any of their SAC opponents coming within single digits. Dwenger has a good defense though it appears. Good to see the Saints back.

Lol, gotcha, sorry for the confusion. At least it gave us an excuse to banter. 

And yeah, gotta do this again, "every damn year." What fun would the forum be without someone up north claiming this is the year the North wins 6A? I do think it's comical though how posters underestimate Buzea. Crown Point is looking pretty good. Destroyed Pike. Thought you said Pike was gonna win?

It's hard to imagine Carroll and Crown Point not squaring off in the regional. Bearish on the Kingsmen and all the way out on Elkhart. Regardless, it's getting hard not to mentally advance Carmel to Thanksgiving weekend.

Pike has an injured QB now as well. Hope he's ok.

You're right about BD's schedule. They should get NC Week 9, but they have a brutal trek coming up.

True North is north of Lafayette. 

Carmel is looking good. I'm thinking there's a 60/40 chance of them representing. The 40 being split between CP and Carroll, also 60/40 if that makes sense. 

Agree that no one wants to tangle with Brownsburg this year.

happy to have carmel back in their north gatekeeper position, will keep me from having to hear about how overrated we can make crown point each year.

and i'm excited to see a real battle for the 6a championship, but I like brownsburg this year.

Kevin Wright + 5000 students = Lethal combination and good luck to everyone else. Throw your theory about there being a threshold, too many kids can be detrimental, out the window and set fire to it.

Crown Point is going to steamroll through the Duneland and likely Penn again. I just think someone like Carmel or a Hoosier Crossroads team is going to be an AWFUL matchup for Crown Point if they get past Regionals. The Bulldogs have been killing the north with their lines. I don't think it's working again this year. It's likely Crown Point loses their advantage on the lines at Semi State unless they get Zionsville or Harrison. They took a step back in the passing game this year now that the QB is at Miami(OH). Trevor Gibbs is basically their entire offense. The 6'4 Indiana recruit is used all over the place. TE, H Back, RB, Wildcat. 

Feels like rinse and repeat from last year in terms of results. And the offense was arguably more dynamic last year.

Buzea has been working with his seniors since they were freshmen. First class to say that. They'll be fine. Should beat Penn. Slight favorite over Carroll. When Carmel punches, CP will punch back, but I'll take the Greyhounds.

CP will play the winner of the FT Wayne sectional for regional. It will be in Semi-state when they see a HCC team or Carmel.

Saw on Twitter ( X) or whatever they call it now, that Center Grove has 2 of their best players, receiver annd runningback,  out for the season or at least most of the year. If that’s the case, could definitely change some things for them. 
 

Tough to hear Pike QB is injured. That kid is a heck of a football player. Lots of injuries thus far this season for multiple teams.
