So Northrop and Dwenger both won but fell out? Curious why.

Bloomington South and Carroll were impressive last night.  Just leapfrogged em over Northrop and Dwenger.

Carroll and CP will be meeting for the Regional game this year. Elkhart is a fraud 20+ sacks in two games and Penn finally plays four quarters in 4 games and looks rusty. They have a walk through with NP this week and another potential four quarter game against St. Joe.

Right now, Penn has potential to make things interesting, but too many mistakes against a bad Elkhart D.

So I have been rough on Carroll this year, but there ain’t no freaking way that East Noble is better than them. It would be a 21+ point easy win for Carroll

Yeah, I sorta think so too.

I’m beginning to think that the Dwenger game was an anomaly for Carroll.

I still don’t think Carroll is a threat in 6A this year, but they are heads and shoulders better than East Noble. It would be a terrible matchup for the Knights. Football is always about matchups

I can get on board with that.

How do you see a potential Carroll/Crown Point matchup?

They have a chance for Semi-State. They get out of that sectional and need to put together a great game against CP.

Once you get that far, anything is possible at Semi-State. They may not win it all, but they have a chance to make a run.

Although I know very little about Carroll, CP is a very tough out as they have been steamrolling everybody this season.  I’m glad to see Buzea has brought another winner to the 219.  McKim at Lowell (who was somehow overlooked in this popularity contest) as well…

McKim seems to have resurrecting RDP in just 1 season. Good to see! I was thinking Hanover Central had taken over that area and couldn't have been more wrong.

A little shocked myself.   But Lowell does have a great feeder system and the facilities improvements have been next level,

I think CP walks in heavy favorite.

Carroll will likely have a 5 game winning streak going into sectionals and by the time they play they will be on a 7 game streak. That is a team with confidence. Plus if they are playing at home, then they have the crowd support as well.

I think CP is running with the mantle best team from the True North. They will likely run into Carmel at Semi-State.

I'm hoping we get a Merrillville vs. Lafayette Jeff Semi-State. The O/U on that one should be set at 80. The more I watch Hill from Merrillville the more I'm impressed by him. I won't be surprised if he gets some Power conference offers heading into his Sr. year. Kid has an arm and is a threat running the ball. Merrillville has a stable of speedy WR's.

I think you are discounting how good Dwenger’s defense really is. @23andCounting would probably agree since it sounds like he was at that game.

Crown Point/Penn vs Carroll will be a war, plain and simple. Unfortunately though, I think Carmel is two touchdowns better than all comers.

I have yet to see Dwenger in person, although I've seen them on online a few times. Stats don't lie. Dwenger will be a tough out. They had Northrop by two touchdowns before they fell apart. Every team has that "down" game.

But that’s why they play the game…

I like Carmel by more than that.

Maybe.

Taking the out of state games out of the equation, Carmel is winning by an average of 37+ points per game…and they’ve beaten the 2nd/3rd best team in the HCC in two of those contests…

And you think Carroll/Crown Point would be within two scores?

Nah.

Crown Point by 14-17 points, something like 31-14
