"Roncalli Royals Run Away from Dwenger's Stout Defense." Twenty nine points was the most scored against Dwenger this year. You nailed it. You just didn't see the part where Dwenger scored 36 coming. Hell, I thought "run away" meant Roncalli would win like 28-10 and run away with it late. Lol never thought that Dwenger would score 26 more points than I assumed (especially after watching them vs St. Joe's). But honestly, credit to both offensive coaching staffs. Each of them scored 0 touchdowns in week 1 and then found a way to continue to score in week 15. That really was the game of the weekend, followed by the Andrean and Brownstown game which was awesome. Quote

The two games I had to miss due to the snow storm 😞. Although I felt the New Pal/Merrillville game was entertaining going into the fourth quarter tied at 17 apiece. Quote

Although I felt the New Pal/Merrillville game was entertaining going into the fourth quarter tied at 17 apiece. That was a good game for sure. I've watched a very good amount of Merrillville games over the years and while I felt like they had a chance to win that game, as an objective observer, it felt like New Pal was going to eventually make enough plays to win. I didn't foresee a 21-0 4th quarter regardless of what decisions led to that "lopsided" final quarter. Merrillville competed about as well as I expected. I figured they would be in it until late, which they were, and they had a real chance if they make some of the plays they didn't. Quote

So kudos to New Pal. I'm not sure how much the Pirates losing their starting QB hurt, as the backup looked pretty darn good. But yeah, 21-0 in the fourth? Didn't see that coming. Quote
